Anna Walters Hi Anna. There is a lot of overlap between the two. Some would divide the two by noting that evaluation focuses on determining whether the policy is meeting its STATED objectives (what the policy is intended to do). Analysis may focus more on looking at the policy from perspectives that go beyond the stated objectives and goals of the policy. For example, does the policy make sense from an economic standpoint or some other "filter" that does not necessarily include the stated goals of the policy. Thanks!
