I think Francesca was in Bath for the previous 2 seasons and has only recently returned for her debut. In the first episode the one line from Anthony saying something similar to "Those piano lessons in bath really paid off" was supposed to explain but that's all we seem to have heard so far.

@@ItsRebeccaKate okay I googled it to make sure and I was wrong! When Ruby Stokes played Francesca, the character appeared in just five episodes over the past two seasons. While she was introduced in the Season 1 premiere before Daphne entered society, Francesca departed for the countryside for most of Season 1 and has been recast for season 3 by Hannah Dodd.

Cressida was also in the first two seasons. In the first she spilled her drink over Penelope and Colin came to the rescue. Then she was trying to charm the Prince, and was angry with Daphne, because he prefered her. Enjoying your reviews. Could say more to Francesca as I have read the books several times these last 15 years, but would be spoilers. I like all of the books, but Francesca's is my favorite, followed by Colin's and Eloise's.

Oh really! I feel like it's been so long since I've seen Season 2 I didn't even notice! She's definitely my villian this season 😅 aww I definitely feel like franchesca will have such a good season, I get the feeling she's kind hearted and a little shy. I definitely want to read the books! My TBR is so long haha

Yeah, Francesca definitely has my heart. Very 'smol baby, must protect' lol. Benedict's story is my favorite, but then I'm a huge fan of a certain 90s movie. 😉🤫
