Been driving my m2 on the road and the track, I cannot for the life of me figure out why all these reviewers got the idea that the carbon seats have an effect on using the clutch, I have never noticed anything. Don't let these people that drive the car for a few hours then parrot back what they heard in other videos discourage you from getting these seats, they are amazing.
Great review, had mine a month now, and enjoying it more and more each time I drive it. Nothing quite like it offering great performance but with some practicality. Looks aren’t for everyone but again it’s a grower.

A very based car they have built, the utility it offer compare to other fast coupe is insane. Also the price is a win for customer because by what it offer and speed it could have been easily near 100k starting.
Curious -- how long has your build time been? I'm getting ready to place my order, but still debating 6 speed manual vs 8 speed auto. Coming from a Subaru STi, I'm partial to the manual... That said, the auto has its perks and they have really come a long way. Any input would be greatly appreciated in terms of build time. Thank you! ENJOY the ride.

If manual transmission take rate is so small and the customer base is so niche, why not offer them for all cars with a huge premium of a few thousand dollars? Surely the customers who want these are passionate enough to pay more for them. Besides, wouldn't this recoup money spent on R&D? And wouldn't it also offer money to ensure that these manuals are designed to have the correct feel?
Have you driven one? Strong opinion unless you have driven it and then you say it. I have driven one…purchased a manual version and it drives ferociously as a true sports car and I have owned 4 M cars now. Also many other very nice sports cars such as a Mustang GT 350, Ford Focus RS, SL63 AMG, Lexus, Audi S4, Corvette Z06 and many others I will not bore you with the list but I can tell you it drives like a go kart literally glued to the road!!! It is much more confidence inspiring than the M4 this car replaces. It bats way above its pay grade. This is a special car. I’ve gotten used to how it looks. In person it is actually quite nice and muscular looking and does not look like any other car made. Fit and finish is also excellent. It is a smaller sports car that definitely does not feel as heavy as it is. They have this car dialed in!!!
