1 ticket in stead of 3 is often common practice : the other 2 will be registered as a official warning in the database , while the most severe means a ticket. Notice these handhelds all dutch officers have : the simply scan the chip on the backside of the driverslicense; add the ticket number for the offence and the rest is prcessed automatically : the fine normally arrives within 14 days on your doormat. This also works the same way in taking a fotograph of the licence plate; the system automatically connects this to the owner : the offence number ( all offences have a unique number related to corresponding law article ) is added by the officer and the owner receives this fine on his doormat ( regardless who was driving at that time ) as under dutch law the owners is always responsible

Considering the setup I think the girl was looking to rip-off men. While he is a sad old fool, I don't buy the line "old creeps targeting young girls" in this case. She knew damn well what she was doing and she was prepared.

a cop who says i'd lock up my daughter even if she's 18 Jan willem is wrong here! she's 18, mother thinks it's okay, daughter thinks it's okay! He should just stay out of her life. now they get a lot of shit from authorities because they didn't do anything wrong
