I've used it for fixing several things, doesn't adhere well to metal, but in some instances that's a good thing. I just recently made a stand connected to my laptop for my phone. It wouldn't adhere to the metal, but I'd found that if I shove some down into the latch hole, that it made a perfect plug to hold the stand. I now can use my phone to catch up with news while visiting other sites on my laptop, with out the phone from sliding off or tipping over. Considering I used 50C worth, it's pretty amazing.
I have two questions: 1: once it is transparent and you form it, how much transparency is retained? ie Can you see through it if you use it for glasses lens for a prop? 2: If you want to copy the shape of something can you use PLA plastic to mold with or will it stick to the plastic when it hardens? Thank you
I just came across this video and I'm like... "Hey! that voice sounds like..." *sees @Mrwhosetheboss AND "SUBSCRIBED" 😅 ohhhhhhh Yes I totally didn't take notice of the name in the intro. PRIMITIVE OLD CONTENT :) Love your work!
Thanks for watching and subscribe for more...... 9 YEARS LATER.... 19.1M subcribers😆 Arun is a true example of how all of the successful youtubers start of small 🙂 I'd love to see a new review by him made this year. Undebiably, it would sky-rocket the sales of the product.
I had watched a video that had polymorph in it is I decided to search it up and stumbled upon this video halfway through I was like hmm this sound a lot like mr whose Thebes's so I decided to check who it is and to my surprises it was him 😄 So glad to see how many changes he has gone thourgh the years and yeah I agree thermo plastice from what. I've seen so far is pretty amazing I mean once it hardens u can make a lot of things and prob in a survival situation u.could prob use this and I could see so,embody using this in camping dunno how but I could see them bringing it along
This looks super cool, quite the nifty thing to have for pretty much whatever you want. Also are you going to do another giveaway this month? I have a few ideas for rewards if you need them.
Mrwhosetheboss i was thinking that some kind of android game controller could be cool, a signed head set would be awesome and maybe that portablebspeaker you reviewed a couple days ago. Thats all i can comr up with at the moment. I hope those help any.
Okay, so my only concern is, I live in a really hot state, and one time I made armor out of worbla, and left it in my car, and and it melted the armor. Do you think this would be the case with the polymorph too?
The water needs to be really close to boiling temperature for the first melt. Then you can put your polymorph item back into hot water to continue to shape it. If it's hot but not boiling your item should hold its sculpted shape or close enough to it to carry on shaping it. I've put it in water that was too cold for the first melt and the beads go soft on the outside but stay hard in the centre.. not good. Also I'm not sure because I've only been using them for about a week but I think the things I've reheated several times to shape are harder than the ones I've only heated once or twice to shape. Hope this helps
Does NOT look very "solid" at all! I mean yes it was a "solid" type of material but it wasnt exactly "hard" it was almost like rubber which is not very useful for most things, handles that are Wrapped around objects it would work well for as if its slightly soft/rubbery like the stuff you just showed then it will offer some cushioning in your hand, but, you couldnt use it for a handle that isnt "wrapped" around something as it seems it will just bend whuch sucks! I always thought it dried to a rock hard form, literally Exactly like "Plastic" so I could use it for RC parts, but THANKFULLY you showed me I cant so I dont waste my money & time so Thank You!
I was wondering about this as well, since there are very few videos that show the strength. One of the videos I found shows that it is actually pretty darn strong, while others don't? Might have something to do with how long it takes for it to "dry/cooldown". Because of this, I bought some "ThermoMorph" (Different name, same thing it seems) and it should arrive in a few days. I'll report back to you about it's strength and thickness... Maybe I should just make a few videos of it too :)
Hey what if i create lure for fishing like a real fish(imitation) for predator and of course when i create i will use in water to caught pike, perch or something .does it melt ?
+Kote Melivadze it needs to be in hot water. I think it says that it needs to be heated to 60 degrees C or more to be melted, water in ponds probably doesn't get hotter than 30 degrees.
