Great and comprehensive guide! Defenders as yadakk is such an obscure but effective strategy for caging in the opponent and hampering their unit movements, 10/10 would recommend

Yaddak in terms of my favorite tribe design and gameplay is within my top three, alongside Ai-Mo. When it clicked in my head to use roads for openings I instantly fell in love with the tribe. The nerf is unfortunate to be sure, but this guide is very well put together and helpful, as there are numerous scenarios that are sub optimal which can be confusing to play

3:17 love the opening Polytopia theory. Can really mean the difference between a beginner, intermediate and master in skill level if the Polytopia theory is mastered

Thanks for the guide! I've wanted to use Yadakk, but I couldn't get the hang of it. This is very helpful! Also, for tribes, what about an Ai-Mo or Zebasi guide? I think that would be pretty cool.

I think the nerf still hit Yadakk way too hard. Not being able to get roads, warrior, and T1 tech before capturing the first city has crippled it. A fair balance would be to make roads 2 stars in friendly territory and 3 in neutral.

@@ClubbingSealCubHe doesn’t mean exclusively for Yaddak, he means that every tribe will have 2 star roads in their borders and 3 outside of them.

Poor Yâdakk. The road nerf affected them the hardest which lead them to resort to crime. The nicest tribe became one of the most ruthless ones.

Good question. Lighthouses are covered with fog to start. I would save them for later. The priority is finding villages before your opponent

I think the nerf was highly unnecessary. How about you make riding a tier 2 tech and free spirit a tier 1 instead? That way you can keep original road cost and dont nerf oumaji to the ground while still nerfing rider roads sufficiently. Altrernatively make roads a tier 3 and swap it with the tech that orginally came after it. I can guarantee no matter what you do, yaddak will be a tier at most. The current patch is just straight up unfair bullying for yaddak.

You are not alone. Many Yadakk fans feel like the road at 3 stars was too much. All we can do it learn to play the new meta and make the best of it

@@polychampions I like them better than custom houses, because for whatever reason, every match I play goes on for like 40 turns and I have yet to find a way to shorten matches, so I end up with most of the tech tree unlocked and like 4-5 lvl 8 markets. (Also they look cooler lol)

It's difficult after the update but the old ways still work, riders and roads as a counter. Obviously with roads costing 3 stars you have to be more careful but with good planning you can beat them. We'll share ways to deal with Cymanti in the Cymanti guide. Stay tuned!
