Here I show how seasonal change affects the water clarity. intstagram/organicpools www.organicpools.co.uk free DIY pdf: www.organicpools.co.uk/DIY%20DVD.htm
Some bacteria from a company here in Canada and also making sure the liner was disconnected from the surrounding soil worked for us last year. Clearest the pool ever was and it was greenish before
How long into your warmer temperatures does it take to clear? What month to what month would you say you see the process begin and then find it palpable to swim?? Cheers David!
Howdy. I just set up your filtration principle in my back fishpond. I sealed an old vacuum cleaner pipe at the bottom of a closed plant pot, and filled the pot w gravel, sand, dirt, plants in the required proportions. I then whacked an air stone in the other end of the pipe, with .7m lift. The top of the plant pot is 6cm under the water surface. It has only been assembled and filtering for 10days, but the water is crystal clear and the fish are smiling!! LouiseAustralia 🦘
That is awesome to hear! I mean, David's videos have me convinced for quite some time but unfortunately, I haven't been able to build our own pond yet (someday, hopefully). It's just great to see and hear from others that the principles do indeed work.
Why is it that the rec pond guys always try ram 'intake bay and skimmer combo' down my throat? Do you recomend going that path? Or a combo of both? I prefer your method.
