+iSynthh To be fair, Currents by Tame Impala hit #1 on the Australian charts, #2 on the UK charts and #3 on the US charts. They're doing pretty well. Pond's a bit more obscure though yeah, but I kind of love it that way.

I would advise against taking hallucinogens and watching this. I would turn it off when the Muppets start killing things and jerking off lol. This video is awesomely insane though. Pond never ceases to provide exceptionally psychedelic videos and tunes. Looking forward to the rest of the album.

Oh, Lord! This just reaffirms how happy I am for being part of an era where this guys are alive. A couple years ago I was kinda sad and disappointed for not being alive earlier, so I could've enjoy some of my idols better (like Cobain, Curtis, Lennon, etc.), but people like Nick makes me feel so fucking happy. They all make me happy, and that's much to say. This music is the new classic, and I'm so proud to be part of it!

hey i don't mean to be pushy here but some more artists that are doing similar things right now (in case you're missing out) are Ariel Pink/ Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, The Flaming Lips, Foxygen, MGMT, and I'm assuming you know Tame Impala and Gum. Black Mountain i guess isn't currently active but their self titled LP and "In the Future" are pretty great. oh and also Of Montreal. their latest album was pretty grateful dead inspired if you ask me "Lousy with Sylvianbriar" different but still really good whacky psychedelic music.
