Ancient literature and Philosphies have influence in spiritual , social and political space of this country till now..like every time in the history.. Good thing in Islam is their is no untouchability or caste system and their is one god. But why, the people destroy the beautiful culture ,arts, literature ,scriptures ,idols , ancient architecture.. and apply thier own culture(language,dress style, Scriptures).
