Hello friends, many of you asked me to go to Ponte Maceira (Negreira) and this weekend I decided to go, for me it has been an authentic trip to the Middle Ages.
Ponte Maceira is located in the municipality of Negreira, it is a village that belongs to the parish of Portor (Coruña).
It is considered one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, and the truth is that it is worth visiting.
The Roman bridge that I cross dates from the 13th century and crosses the Tambre river, the water mills are preserved in very good condition.
I was amazed to find a pentagram or pentacle carved into the stone in the direction of the passage of water under the mill.
Ponte Maceira is almost an obligatory stop for pilgrims who come from Compostela and go to Finisterre.
I hope you enjoy and that you visit it if you have the opportunity.
