When I came home from desert storm I bought a 1984 Trans Am and put the KITT mods on. Hated the steering wheel but loved the mods for cruising night. Like this guy, I had to change the front light to yellow because of the police light laws
I always liked K.A.R.R. over K.I.T.T. If you ask me K.A.R.R. was sentient He thought for himself with no restrictions. K.I.T.T. was a slave to his program. I love the replica. great workmanship.
If both would exist in the real world, you wouldn't dare to "own" KARR. From the moment you're not longer useful to him, he will try to get rid of you. For that reason I would prefer to own KITT.
@@tomrodgers6629 If you're talking about humanity, then KARR is a sociopath. They're proven to be quite destructive for their environment, just like in the show. Yes KITT was programmed to serve someone, which doesn't make him particular human, but he sure shows lots of empathy, which I prefer. If you prefer sociopaths, then so be it.
Well KARR does need therapy but what do you expect he was betrayed by his creator. Imagine a sentient bring self aware being turned off and put in storage the psycological damage that would cause. KARR has PTSD he freaked out at the mere mention of the foundation.@@Sk1ds87
Perfect way to counter “KARR disposing you” is simply to become his mechanic. KARR weigh the pros and cons and determine that you repairing him when he gets broken is better than him simply killing you.
Brilliant!!! KITT is my ultimate hero, but the legendary clash twice over with KARR is awesome. Lovely to see that KARR is still alive & kicking!!! The paint job is brilliant too, exactly the same as in KITT Vs KARR!! Let's hope it's not a reincarnated Garth Knight behind the wheel.............
Interesting fact: K.I.T.T. Replicas are not allowed to use the red scanner light on public roads. K.A.R.R. On the other hand, has Amber scanner lights, which is 100% legal to use on the roads as long as it is not flashing in a strobe pattern in Non-Emergency situation’s.
@@ItsArcaneAntics. Possibly because white and yellow lights on the front of a car are road-legal. And red lights are legal for the back of a car, unless when you are reversing.
KARR actually had two voices in the original show, but people remember Cullen the most for obvious reasons (not only he was the original [more naive] voice, when KARR was all black, but is the more famous voice actor). Cullen, coming off of the first live action Transformers film, was also brought back to voice the new version of KARR in the 2008 reboot series. Paul Frees (best known for his Disney animation and park work on projects like Pirates of the Caribbean [he is the voice saying "Dead men tell no tales!"] and as the Ghost Host narrator of The Haunted Mansion) voiced the (more manipulative) KARR in his second appearance on the show, where the paint job was updated to the more iconic grey underside that we see in this video. It's always interesting that people mix the aspects of the different KARRs in their memory: we all remember Cullen as the voice, but simultaneously remember the look of the Frees version (as well as the showdown from that episode).

@@misherumaribosuton I wish they could have gotten a Banks Trans Am then KITT going super fast would have made more sense. The Banks held the world record for 10 years straight because it went 277 mph.
Interesting. So many KITT replicas I've seen but never before a KARR. I mean all the people making them have the choice of either being the hero or the villain so I guess it makes sense that there's so little of these.
