looks like the Pontiac was going in the left turn lane but then the suv pulled in front so they swerve around. then you came and they had to swerve around you too. what do you think happened?
Yeah, mostly a case of bad timing here. It's possible the SUV merged into the Pontiac's space, so we see the (over)reaction. Can't blame the Pontiac driver to much for the swerve, but he/she took a risk in trying to overtake the SUV. Could have braked and gotten back in his lane behind the SUV.
vanwiseman I think some times swerving is the only option. one time I went to pass on a two lane road, I got some speed and as I pulled into the opposite lane to pass, some one pulled out of a drive way coming straight at me. I had a good amount of speed so braking just didn't seem like it would stop in time. so I swerved back into my lane behind the guy I was trying to pass. I still had too much speed to stay behind the guy I was trying to pass so rite after I got passed the oncoming car I swerved around the guy I was trying to pass. I guess I could have tried to slow down and stay behind the guy I was trying to pass but I don't think I would have had enough traction to brake and turn at the same time. so I just turned with out braking.
