I just finished using this on some nasty looking pontoon tubes . At first I thought it wasn’t working but after a second application it was doing the job. I was impressed after rinsing. I plan to apply Rejex to the tubes before the boat hits the water . Hopefully it prevents the problem from coming back.

Is using gloves during the acid application and removal not during the Polish cuz you don't need to

Do not use acid... then use acid resistant gloves... ae

Not all acids will blind you or burn off your skin. All aluminum cleaners have acids. It says not to use Hydrofluoric acid which used to be the popular way to quickly clean aluminum, but one splash and you're blind.

I just looked this up and it was the first thing I came to, I am going to look more even though I have tons of wal marts around me LOL> I have seen MUCH better polish than this. I mean, Like a Mirror. If I am going to use a buffer I am going to keep at it till I can see my ugly ass in it. LOL I'm thinking mines going to get several power washes 1st as well, been sitting in a pond for long time.

Hey Dylan, I was reading your post about your hull being white after using this stuff, did it stay white? I used a different brand of aluminum cleaner on my boat underneath and it turned it white. thanks for your response

@@craigh3332 it did stay white. I ended up using scotch brite pads along with using the stuff and it looks better

@@DylanSmith-rz7zl Thanks for the reply, I did a small test spot yesterday, it's still white. I ended up getting some descaler from the local house of chemicals which worked really well and didn't turn it white. I used scotch brite pads as well with descaler, lots of scurbbing....lol

If your aluminum is turning white then there's too much acid in your cleaner, I buy an aluminum cleaner by the gallon that is used on semi trailers and then I dilute it myself to just enough to clean the aluminum but it won't turn it white.
