Pontoon Boat Welding Repair 

What a load off my mind. Hubs and I live in Arizona and we started taking on water in one of the pontoons. Happy to see it can be repaired instead of having to replace the entire thing 😅

How much did all that cost to Weld?

That wide bead should help spread the load maybe be awhile before it cracks again.

Very impressive repair! My father was a millwright at USS and he would have liked your welding ability! Quick shout out to those who are considering a Suntracker ❌❌❌❌during the pandemic I ordered a 2020 18 DLX Bass Buggy by Suntracker …from Boater’s World waited almost eight months before receiving it and it was the poorest craftsmanship. All seats except captain’s chair was recalled because the plastic would break under the seat attaching the metal pedestal’s. After a nightmare dealing with the Marina Sales people and Suntracker pointing fingers at each other’s I finally got replacement seats ( they sent the same damn seats and I put them on and all broke after one outing on water while hitting mild conditions of wake water’s. A freaking nightmare! Sure they will have a class action lawsuit coming from customers injuries. And the factory weld’s are pathetic! As Awaiting more Cheap Chinese built seat’s and will sell a Suntracker with a 60 Mercury engine with less than 4 hours. Don’t rely on the Suntracker folks for any quick response’s and their attitude towards a problem is inexcusable. My suggestion is invest in a pontoon that’s better built. First and last product from Suntracker. Very disappointed in Suntracker.😡😡😡

Where I could get these aluminum valves or tubes that they’re threaded and what’s the size on them please if you could help

Where can i find the threaded bung hole? And how much psi should i be doing on a steel pontoon? My first boat barge project. And im going to buy a pontoon boat in need of repair
