In manga he actually did that, but it only "froze" tetsutetsu in place, it didn't break him down, since his "iron skin" works like part of his body. When a muscle or gland "yields" to a higher force, it will "retreat" and not necessarily tear appart, like when Rappa knocked Kirishima away (smashing him into a wall like DragonBall Level), "breaking" kirishima's "unbreakable mode", but not literally shattering all his hardened cells appart, but "tearing" those who couldn't "retreat in time" nor had enough Tenacity to "resist" or transfer the exerted force (though he was able to get up and receive another, but an even stronger one of Rappa blows, right after). Don't forget that the biogenetic interactions of both "quirkless humans" and "evolved humans" (person with an "active quirk factor") are different than IRL laws, just like "meta-human/mutant society" in DC comics and Marvel. The todorokis have thermal fluctuations resistance corresponding to their quirk counterpart (heat or cold, or both in shoto's case). Ida family members developed a body with muscles, bones, eye membranes resistant enough to withstand the aerodynamic pressure n' maneuvers their mutant-type quirks: "Engine" are capable of. Similar case for Bakugou, who eventually conditioned his body to withstand the recoil of his explosions, but he's more limited to his arms and and torso structure (he was able to barely withstand the blows of full cowling 5~8% kicks because of this extra resistance). Kirishima, Tetsutetsu, and every other "hardening/friction resistance/impact resistance" related quirk, have developed their due "Tenacity". With due conditioning, one day their skin n muscles could eventually withstand the Sectional Density penetration of rifles/canons/ballistic-projectiles, without even having to activate their "hardening/friction resistance/impact resistance" quirks.

Hers being more about quality of quantity since her horns are probably more durable than Hawks' feathers.

In regards to Kaminari why try and make him a long range fighter when his quirk is literally close range...

@@PlayerNerfed Well, for Kaminari, it does make sense. Up close, he'd be able to take out quite a few people, but then you just need to fight him from range where he can still hit you, but also his own allies. Being able to direct that electricity to where he wants is a good thing.

@@PlayerNerfed because idk if you know this but lightning moves really fast so using it at range is ideal. Also if eraser has goggles full of water he won't really be able to see too well and would get his ass beat in cqc, also one good punch to the face and now you've got glass in your eyes, quirk is now useless.

Her horns might not have been very effective against giant metal robots considering shoji could just punch them and break them into pieces. She seems like more of a support role much like hawks using her horns to fly people around, maneuver the opponent, rescue citizens, and do ranged harrying attacks as opposed to direct combat. Since the entrance exam to the hero course is solo unless you make friends and she's a foreign exchange student who barely speaks japanese she was probably alone and scored low but high enough to pass

The fact that it's originally Japanese and the joke is she doesn't know a lot of Japanese which gives Monoma the chance to teach her weird/insulting Japanese sentences/phrases is kinda weird

They could've at least given her a more southern accent. To at least give the distinction that she's foreign. Because I watch the dub, I didn't really get the joke until someone explained to me what happened in the sub.

Yep, it's kinda hard to hear when she talks normally, but when she gets angry or frustrated, they made it more pronounced to cover that in the sub, she forgets to speak Japanese and goes to English instead.

Though looking at it another way, the enemy only had one member remaining and she kept her team safe. In a real scenario, her teammates wouldn’t have gone to jail, they’d probably be dead, so keeping them alive becomes the priority.
