I love him cause even if he was a bit dim, he was aware of this, but used it to his advantage, where he was able to see through problems simply, like a mythical occums razor. The simplest solution is often the right one, and Pooh embodied this.

i always loved the portrayal of eeyore. they didnt let his depression affect them in a negative way and instead chose to include him no matter what, because they valued him as a friend. even as a kid, before i understood what depression was, it was very meaningful to see
