Hmmm question. I have one of those and I'm gonna install a small 20amp mini split to my home. But the main panel is so far away it's gonna be a pain. Meanwhile the pool subpanal is right where I need it. Could I add a 20amp double breaker to the subpanal instead of running an all new wire and quick disconnect over 150ft

Hi, thanks for the video. This question's a bit off topic but here goes: For an indoor pool I can use gas heating for the water, if I wanted, so the only necessary piece of electrical equipment would be the pump to keep the water passing through a filter, is that right? Obviously lighting and other peripherals aside. I could use UV chlorination but don't need to - the only electrical thing I actually need is the pump? I'm doing a electrical course project with a swimming pool so it's the electrical wiring I'm interested in and don't want to add unnecessary complications. Thanks. : )

Is pool pre-wiring/electrical on a new construction home done with the builder is it more or less cost effective versus doing it through a pool company?

Should be about the same. The important piece is that the home is built with a large enough electrical service entering the house to support an additional pool electric panel. So often homes are built with a service and main panel that can only just barley serve the house itself with no extra room.

What is the name of the Panel? Where can I order the panel? How much is the Panel? Can you add a second timer for the sprinkler?

You can add or purchase a unit with an additional timer from the factory. It is called a Wiretran 2

What type of material is the box made of? Nema 3 or metal? I prefer Nema 3.

If I may ask, if I'm installing a wifi box to a set up like this would it be to the pool pump or the gfi circuit. And how does that interact with the pool heater?

Should be installed by a licensed electrician. Designated GFCI breaker.

Will the panel and remote work with Haywood color logic 4.0 120v lights

This particular model will. Each button is a separate relay in the panel. On or Off. The new ones do some color changing and will cycle power but im not sure what color order they are using. I know that it is not Pentair.

Automation can not be added to this panel. BUT a Pentair inteliconnect could be added to the whole system. That is an add on that would compliment this load center quite nicely to give you some control and lite automation.
