Finally got a moment to watch this instructional video!! I learn so much from watching you. Thank you for being so open about what you use and why you use it. This is another great video and you are a master using lights.
Big thanks for talking about flash power settings too. So many portrait photog vids out there sayings "here's my settings!" and they leave out what the flash is doing. Listing the flash power is a huge help thanks a ton!
Hey Brandon your videos are entertaining, educational, and informative. Love it keep up the hard work. I'm learning a lot. Im bout to pull up on you at your next photoshoot and get some hands on experience from you. Do you do live and in-person classes? I would love to learn from you. 💯💯💯
I have a newbie question. What happens if the strobe falls in the water. Isn’t there a danger of electrocution? Or is it different because it’s battery powered? Love the video!
@@vincentroy5093 no it has a safety shut off. Feature. The current doesn’t stay active at all and it’s not plugged up into anything so it’s not constantly receiving voltage from something like a plug or outlet
@@BrandonColePhotography I’m just getting into the game and trying to soak up as much info as possible and ran across your page. Excellent work by the way. Majority of your post work is done in LR?
I recorded from 3 different sources. Most people won't do that lol. I had BTS from my Osmo Pocket 3, my Insta360 X4 and my atomos ninja while my friend held my sony a7siv
All images added to the video are edited images. I wouldn't put unedited raw images in the video unless I explained to you why and I was making a point or a teaching moment
I was gonna ask the same, what I found out is if a bigger light box is used it would cover the bottom half. Just like Brandon say remember where the light is but to avoid bottom half being darker this can be tried. …. UNLESS LIKE HE SAID ITS PREFERENCE. love the video .
It's all in your preparation, your gear, your photoshoot and what you desire. If I plan on shooting full body shots a lot, I can make a simple adjustment either moving the light or increasing the power. As you can see, 85 % of the photos was upper body or 3 quarter shoots, not really worrying about the legs or feet. So the setup works for the photos I wanted to capture .
