Woah! Great work, Fil, I'm stoked for ya! Feels good when you hit a milestone or personal target, doesn't it?!?!?!? Keep going brother, patch her up and run again! 🤗👌👍
Awesome runs Fil ! Nice work buddy ! These cars have definitely proven their toughness for sure! But 😂 …. Donuts are for coffee shops!😂🤣😂🤣 I totally agree buddy! Thank you again for all of your work in this challenge and nice job on the new PB!👊👍👍
At first: Many, many thanks for the good work with the Speedrunchallenge. I had a lot of fun. Tuning the car, connect new nice people and and and . I hope that everybody is still staying in contact after the challenge. So at second : Congratulation for your PB 🎉 I wondered how tough the car is after the lots of crashes . Awesome 😂😂😂 I think you must be careful when you drive over the manhole cover because super mario can come out there and catch your car 😂😂😂 Nice run and nice sunglasses 🕶️😁👍
Those manhole covers just keep jumping out at me, haha! And I agree, so many great people have come together to make this challenge what it is. I hope we can all stay in touch. If you haven't joined the fb group yet, I encourage you to, most drivers are in there. 👊🏼
Yehhhhh new Pb!!👍🏁💥💨💨💨 Congratulations Fil. Man those things are the toughest!, I think any other brand would vapourise with the speeds you guys are hitting. Thanks for sharing your video and all the best with your 58mph target👍🦘🇦🇺
Oh no Fil! Shoebert is so upset about your locked diff but I think mainly because you talked about donuts but not the edible ones😂😂🤣🐿🐿. Get that diff sorted and if your iffy FlySky trans has dual rate turn it down to min or get a bit of alloy plat and make a diffuser (really think it makes a difference past 30/35mph. Great stuff mate.
Yeah, man, you smashed that speed barrier, buddy! And you smashed your car a few times, too, ha ha... Get that differential sorted, and get back at it, I'm sure you'll smash 58 also!
Great video Fil!! 👌 Congrats on breaking the 50mph barrier.... that's quite a jump from your last run, great work Sir!! That was one superb curb burner there, and like you say- these are some tough little Tamiya's..... well, until you do some victory doughnuts! 😬😂 We are waiting for some tire foams, pinion gear and a pit box to re calibrate the ESC /motor settings..... not sure wether they will get here in time for the 30th? So,we are going to have another run on Saturday morning with the car as it was last time..... we are desperate to join the nifty 50 club! 🤣 Very entertaining video mate. 👍 👍 👍
Thanks, brother. Fingers crossed you guys get your go-fast goodies in time! I'd love to see you in the 50+ club. It's all Margaritaville songs, shuffle-board and Murder She Wrote up here. It's pretty glamorous! LOL!
@@poorboysrc Sounds good to me mate..... 49.7 last time, I'm sure she's got it in her on the current set up. Just need to find a way of keeping the bloody thing on the road! 🤣 We are going to try a new location tomorrow, , we will either break 50,or break the car with some awesome crashes..... either way it's guna be fun! 🤣 👍 👍 👍
@@poorboysrc they are a nice fun car. Have you tried it on a baseball diamond. Just let it drift all around. I put a brushless system in one with a 2s lipo and it is just fun drifting around on the diamond.
Congrats on getting into the 50s with it and it sucks the tractions was such an issue. It definitely had a lot more to go! Odd it locked up one rear wheel like that, hopefully nothing serious. Thankfully parts are very cheap an easy to get for these!
Great vid man! Can't wait to get my tt02 out for a pass, still waiting on a few parts. Glad to see I'm not the only one who hates those flysky remotes, I was only able to clock 46mph with a redcat lightning chassis on one of those, they just have terrible range a bad UI and who even has 8x AAs to spare anymore?! I'm wiring mine to run off a 2s haha but only for use with crawlers and basher's now
I love the Flysky radio for my RC collection. The receivers are cheap, and the 10 model memory is awesome. But for speed runs, and anywhere I need range, they're no good at all! 🤯
Awesome fil. Damn good considering the stability issues. Sometimes if you radius the corners of the foams it can help. Also turn down the tx steering rate.
@@poorboysrc Did you see our 69mph run. I never saw a comment on the video. I am sure you have because I posted it everywhere lol I just want to be sure it is logged. You have made a Tamiya fan boy out of me and I am already looking forward to the next challenge!!
Filly you should try the spf 50 sunscreen trick on the foams. It helped us extremely with traction.. we’re hoping to get in the 70 club before calling it. You’re so right I’m extremely surprised with the toughness of the tt01-2. And I haven’t seen a Subaru like yours in a long time. They all seemed to rot out here in Iowa because of the salt on the roads in the winter .. stay cool my friend ✌️
I'm gonna have to try that sunscreen trick. I definitely need more traction. Oh, and the car is actually an '85 Toyota Camry. It caught a lot of attention in this video series, so in my speed run #3 video, I did a walk-around of the car, along with a little 80's montage. You should watch it, you'll get a kick out of it.
@@poorboysrc nice ride man! I drive a 91 cutlass ciera it's not clean like that but it's a tank for sure! Would love to have a nice 80s or 90s japanese econobox though.
@@SlowPythonV1 I love them, man! 80's and 90's econoboxes are so much fun. Tons of character, wacky features, and most of them handle like a wet sponge, lol!
Hey you beat me damn it! I mean well done mate 🤣 Oh I need to get the speed run car out again now don't I? Not sure if I can do any better than I did last time but I'll have a go. Nice one Fil 😁👍👍
@@poorboysrc These two companies sell the exact same tires for touring cars but BSR charges double. I just remembered there is also 30mm for rear which might help with stability. 26mm on fronts
Great job are you sure it's not diffing out it looks like every time you get into the throttle hard it hooks one way or the other might need a looker or thicker fluid
I dont know if you have done it but 2 degree hubs in the back and adjustable steering links for a little toe out in the front makes the tt02 more stable.
@@poorboysrc yeah ive never seen them either. Its probably worth getting the blue ones if you plan to keep getting faster. I just got a new motor in the mail and put it in. The motor/esc im about to try is insane soo I have high hopes of smashing my 107mph.
No I assumed you meant spur still not a speed gear lol think completely the other way if you want to go really fast bud but then there is suspension esc heat dual rate steering speed and on lol I made a total of 5 passes with my tt o2 and went 99 mph at half trigger and half track before I lost steering but I enjoyed the challenge thanks for putting it on bud @@poorboysrc
