So good. I listen to a lot of comedy...because the world sucks....and THIS is one of the better, more creative, less expected sets I've seen. And I've seen a lot of stand up comedy sets. Because the world sucks. But not for 9 minutes.
Her takes are actually interesting, not just funny Like that "I'm more lazy than transgender" I'm sure there are people like that out there, that's what the spectrum is all about

@@billyin4c514 I can't attest for biological uncles (my only biological uncle passed away when I was 13 and wasn't like that for the brief period of time he was present during my early adolescence), but the "uncles" which are your parent's male friends, or the male parents of your own friends, are quite prone to doing that in my own experience. Along with so called innocent actions such as patting your ass, pulling you into their lap, or giving you the extra squishy hug where you can feel them try to not too subtlety press your breasts up against them (often done in combo with an ass rub/squeeze). Trying to navigate appropriate and not appropriate attentions of older males when your a teenager is a literal minefield.
How the hell did they do a set with topics that have been done thousands of times, and yet every joke felt fresh?! Super talented and the funniest set I've seen in a long time. Definitely gonna follow
Thoroughly enjoyed this set. She’s absolutely hilarious and navigates through being “in your face progressive,” which is a hard setup to sell to a *whole* crowd quite often, flawlessly.
It's easier for her to do bc she is part of the groups she's talking about/making fun of. It's harder for someone like Bill Burr going to rip on fat, white women or Dave Chappelle on trans groups without a cringe bc they are outsiders.

I thaught that, maybe about 15 to 20y ago when Dove Beauty started showing "real" bodies, I mean, all smooth, big thighs big breasts. The only diffetence were the measurements. At the time I thaught, just stop the hipocrisy and hire regular models.
fr the don’t have rolls their posture is amazing their drop dead gorgeous, there’s only like 2 or 3 plus size models that i can say arent like that but they get so much criticism and hate

I keep trying to explain to my husband that plus size models are just thick hourglass women. Some of it is diet and exercise but the other piece is genetics, hormones and stress levels. Truly, it's excellent. But I. am. tired. Also I've always been a lil fat and opinionated so I had to work real hard just to get folks to see me as my assigned gender in the first place. I've low-key given up on comedy but watched this for some reason and SHE IS HILARIOUS! I guess this is what it looks like to be successfully funny while successfully toeing the limits of woke censure. (I'm using "woke" in a neutral way here. Good to see a comedian bringing us together even sensitive topics with humor :) As someone who is moderately pro-life (would favor limits to first trimester, ideally 10 weeks, (except severe health of unborn or risk to mother, lifetime limits on number of abortions) but am also passionately supportive of gay rights, gay marriage, trans pronouns, alignment of alcohol/marijuana/low-dose codeine in terms of legal access by adults, I appreciated the joke scenario about someone being both transgender and pro-life.
