Leatherface is responsible for most of the gruesome murders in the film. Using a chainsaw, he commits terrible acts of violence, attacking his innocent victims who have no chance of survival. Leatherface and his family are discovered by a group of friends who are traveling through Texas. The team is attacked and most of them die at the hands of Leatherface. However, one of his potential victims, a girl named Sally, manages to escape and survive. The next films in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series continue Leatherface's story.
