Im not a Christian and I totally understood what the Pope said and I concur. The pope was implying that since homosexuality was a sin and we all sin, it is normal for some people to gravitate towards it, so there’s no need for making homosexuality a more severe sin than cursing for example. It's talking about adultery. We're called to be fruitful and multiply but with only with the person whom we marry. We all make mistakes and things happen so of course many people end up with many different partners or children with different people.. But when it says fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God it is talking about adultery meaning people who sleep around and have sex with all kinds of people and have that lifestyle WITHOUT repenting and turning to Jesus and doing their best to live holy.

Following the Bible and Jesus is not about being perfect because we can never be perfect due to living in a fallen world and having a carnal nature (the flesh). I'm Catholic, and even I understand that the Catholic Church has been infiltrated by Satan. Read about the whore of Babylon, who was drunk on the blood of the saints and adorned herself with jewels and purple and scarlet. That's exactly what the church is doing.
