Oh absolutely. I never grew up in the hood but my dad lived in NE philly for alittle which is the hood and I was probably 12 when I tried churches for the first time there, rough area but loved the chicken. Then I moved to south jersey near Camden and there was 1 there. Very hood lmao
Church’s chicken is so underrated! I think it’s good fried chicken. What you REALLY needed to buy though were the biscuits from Chruch’s! Those are FIRE with some honey drizzled over them 🤤
I live in a country where Neva of these burgers are available and I am not sure how well they would sell in my country due to lack of mayonnaise and Lettuce but that church chicken sandwich looked delicious
@@JamaalDaGreatest I think churches is good for when you’re not really in the mood for all that Cajun flavor. (Which is rare for me) Those are my two favorite big brand chicken places to go to..
@@shophocho7798 everytime I’ve gotten church’s in my area it’s hard in the middle and feels like I’m biting through an ice cream or sumthing. It’s never cooked all the way through or it’s stale asl. Never going back again
@@БелыйКузнецовi like churches more because its more buttery and moist and the spicy mayo i like better but sometimes i got sandwiches that were a bit too moist it felt very soggy
You need to try Church's spicy bone in chicken it's fire when employees make it right and can't forget the honey glazed biscuits, Neva, Neva, nevaaaah lol
@@patriciabronk1786 they’re mostly on the west coast or southwest I think but believe me they biscuits are top tier and the best of all chicken spots if you ever get to try it ask for the honey too !
I pass by a church's restaurant everyday for the past 20+ years and I remember going there once when I was younger with my cousin, can't recall how it was tho 😅
The closest Churches to me is literally right next to the projects which is right behind it and then there’s a bunch of boarded up bandos across the street from it so now I def believe that they’re all in the ghetto hood.
it's called Texas chicken everywhere outside the US. but it originated in the Bible belt part of the US so back then church's used to sound more appealing to Americans lol
I miss Church's. There was one at a gas station when I would swap between my parents on the weekends and sometimes I would get a bite to eat from there. Not surprised that the chicken came undercooked tho, the chain has seen better days.
