I always knew this song had something to do with the prototype, I remember hearing it first in the chapter 2 trailer and again when Mommy Long Legs dies. Glad to know this is the official song of 1006.
The Prototype is without a doubt the most mystical, interesting, and terrifying entity in the entire series. It assimilates all organic toys and the people working at Playtime Co. to become stronger, much like the Thing. I'm really looking forward to finding out the origin and motivation of the creature.
I’m pretty sure his motive is to escape and go on some mass murder to take vengeance on those who wronged him , so he’s using all these big bodies to build this giant meat suit for himself so he can become a being more powerful than man
@@UnknownBobaRR yeah the prototype tape is really interesting, i think my favourite tape is the hour of joy tho. not just because of how shocking it is, but because you can imagine how much work would have been put into making that behind the scenes
The first 14 seconds have been reused in the trailer for Poppy playtime chapter 2, while Mommy long legs is crushed, upon reaching the sanctuary of 1006 and in the appearance of kissy Missy at the end of chapter 3
This was the CRAZIEST moment of the entire game, for me at least. My reaction went, HOLY COW IT'S HUGGY HE'S BACK To then thinking OH MY GOLLY IT'S PROTOTYPE But then I released it was catnap, and that was terrifying because he was STANDING UP on his HIND LEGS
You could argue that the BOOUUMM we're hearing is Catnap giving a breathy prayer to his lord and saviour. To me, that sounds on a simple level (because that's what it is), a low saxophone note. Now where else have we heard Jazz music?

This will probably be the name of the final chapter. Poppy Playtime Chapter 6 because it's the ending number of one zero zero six, and if that is actually true then it means that we are legitimately halfway through the main Poppy playtime series.
Why does the intro sound like the main theme to Hereditary? If its a coincidence then I love the detail. Taking inspiration from one of, if not the best horror movies to ever be created is a promising sign of a great future indie horror game!!
This sounds similar to 'Reborn' from the Hereditary soundtrack. In both Poppy and Hereditary the music plays when the antagonist's shrine is being worshipped.
You will hear this when CatNap praying or standing in front of the Prototype’s new body. I saw lot of youtubers play the game and this theme played when the scene
This was terrifying. The only backstory or inside scoop we the player had for who catnap is was seeing him praising a shrine of skeletons and parts of corpses dedicated to the Prototype.
Catnap worships The Prototype like a God. Maybe The Prototype isn't all technological but in fact something more of a paranormal entity and Playtime Co. made a vessel for it.
