@Cody Hemlock Poppy also influenced the creation of the character, it was not just Titanic. When he made videos with Mars the voice over was not present Still, what I find weird about these comments is how they seem to want to blame Poppy so much? I don't understand it

I enjoy some of Lesley Gore music myself and "You Don't Own Me '' along with "California Nights" are favorites and I also have Poppy as my most favorite artist of the here and now.Poppy has excellent taste in music ranging from 1960s to this day.Poppy rocks!!!

True. It's like she has returned to her original state. She used to be a lead singer for some indie band. Her dad used to play in punk bands. It seems like she always had a thing for that sort of music, but she had to play a character and restrict herself to pop music for a while. Until now, she looks so happy about her decision to switch to music she loves.

Yes she's engaged to Ghostemane. Her masterpiece to date is the album I Disagree. A headspinning but very fitting mix of genres from pop to rock to metal. This year in the span of a couple of months she released a heavy EP (EAT) and a 90s alternative album (Flux)

This interview was dubbed, and I kinda wonder if she did the interview talking normally but then somebody decided it would be fun to dub it like the original Poppy videos. There is a 2015 interview with her out of character, where she talks in her "normal" voice.

Who remembers poppy before she got huge and got platinum hair? I remember really liking her rendition of a cover she did of Mazzystar’s fade into you. That cover is what introduced me to that band whenever poppy came back to RU-vid as this robot figure all of anything she did on RU-vid before was deleted

That first song snippet of Boris reminded me of early Soundgarden like Screaming Life. Really cool. I'll have to check them and Craft out. Love that Poppy was inspired by Portishead too. Never thought I'd hear her say "fuck" in the Poppy voice haha. Her real voice is wonderful and I wish she'd just use it all the time now.
