Thought I’d do a comparison of the B58 with pops and bangs setting on vs off! What do you think sounds better? Let me know what you think! As Always, like & subscribe❤️🔥 Help me get 500 subs!!🙌🏼 / @broke-media
Both of them sound pretty good tbh 🤔. I personally enjoy the pops and bangs as long as its not too obnoxious and i think you have it at a pretty good setting.
@@Broke-Media I've been looking to choose between getting a 240i and an OG M2 in a couple years and although I want the M for the handling and DCT kick I have to say your car is a prime example of how good the 240s are. I'll have to test both before I make my mind up when the time comes. Keep up the content my guy 😊
@@bikezone8099 thanks man I appreciate the support!🙌🏼 but yeah they both have their pros and cons but I don’t think you could go wrong either way. Definitely give both a spin and see what you like💯
I run a multi map with & without pops and bangs. When I wanna flex I switch over to my other map😂. But not going to lie it sounds so clean, especially when you downshift.
Yeah i think I’m convinced to go with this setup on my 19’ 440i. Getting bags thrown on this coming month then gonna focus on the performance side of things
I would like pop and bangs burble tune because I have never experienced it before. The people complaining have already experienced it. My current car is capable of doing crazy "Korean popcorn" tunes, as people call it, but my car does not make much horsepower, so there is no point in doing it. When I get an M240i, I plan to do the burble tune for at least 2 to 3 seconds on second to the highest loud setting. If it is too loud, I will turn it down.
Yeah I totally agree, and I think a lot of the people who hate on it can’t even get pop tunes and would most likely try it for themselves if they had the opportunity
I usually keep ‘em off but I have the burble tune on my MHD multimap so I can switch over to them with the steering wheel if I feel like causing a ruckus.
@@Broke-Media it’s nice, I have full power with burbles, full power without, and then a 60% power with and without burbles (if I don’t trust someone on full power lol) on my 4 maps.
My man,is there an intermediate setting for the pops and bangs? For my car,In comfort mode I can really hear the whine down/spooling of the turbo and I love the aggressive bangs on the upshift at 4krpm,but I do love the crackles in MDM mode.I hate the over exaggerated pops in sport and sport+ though
Yeah I feel you bro, but not really you just gotta mess with the mhd/bm3 settings to find what you like or run the multi maps so you can switch between a map with pops and one without
@@Broke-Media with your current settings, have you tried turning down the duration in sport all the way to the far left and seen how it sounds? Also, have you played around with the aggressiveness?
@@phantom2k10 I turned it all the way to the left with the other sliders to help turn pops off but that’s about it. As for aggressiveness, I’ve tried OEM which is pretty subtle, soft which has some subtle pops with some louder ones which is what I prefer, and then I tried medium but it started to get too loud and sounded less like a pop and more like a snap/gunshot
hey man genuine question but do you think the manual m240i is more worth to get over the auto? i stilll wanna be fast but people always seem to hype up bmws manuals
What’s up man! I don’t think you can go wrong either way it just depends what you’re wanting out of the car. There is no doubt that the automatic will be faster, and with xhp tune it’s the closest thing you’ll get to a dual-clutch transmission. Manual is a blast tho and it might be worth getting before they aren’t around anymore. Being faster in auto is nice but really only matters on the drag strip or in a race, other than that I think manual could be more fun because it’s more engaging and still gonna deliver the same power, just not times.
@@Broke-Media Wow. Thank you for that response , really appreciate it. I guess my question now for you is after having the auto m240i for as long as you have , do you think you made the right choice going auto?
@@hate8991 no problem bro! I wouldn’t say I regret getting an auto but sometimes I do wish I had a manual cuz I know how fun they are and I definitely want another manual car before they aren’t around. But I have friends with manuals that wish they had auto so I think it goes both ways😂
@@hate8991 I feel like no matter what you get, at some point you’re gonna wish you got the opposite, so you might as well go test drive both and see what one you personally have more fun with💯
Completely agree, before messing with the pops they sounded perfect but once I changed setting with the tune I didn’t really like them so I always ran the stock settings
@@seanzacot8999 all great options, if you can get an M2 Comp get that for sure, otherwise unless you really want an M2 for the track or the aggressive looks, B58 all the way💪🏼
