@@therainbowmarioman8461 India is currently developing and its population growth rate is declining. I believe its population will start to decrease around 2050. About Nigeria, I think its population will start to decline between 2070 and 2100, since it is also developing. Also because i don't believe that a poor, undeveloped and not too big African country could sustain a population of more than 500 million.
@@thatpjfella First nigeria isn't poor their the 26th richest country in the world and its gdp per capita while yes is poor but its bigger than india and look where india is now. They could do ether 2 things 1. most of nigeria isn't habitable anyway and the population graph still says its increasing unless they make some new law like China 2. Expand territory by Uniting with countries like Niger Cameroon, and benin
It's because Egypt's fertility rate fell below 2 children per woman. Every country in the world below this threshold will experience a population decline, the severity depending on how below the threshold is their fertility rate. Since this simulation is extremely inaccurate Egypt's decline was particularly bad.
@@thatpjfella Nigeria will need at least 50 years to be a quite strong developed country among the nations. Yes the population will be huge, but the low and fast developing gdp of nigeria will give it a low position in terms of gdp per capita. The Human Index will also be low, because Africa is poor and that wont change for the next centuries, because again, the big population and low gdp. Some countries might make significant movements in terms of regional ones, but not international ones, but on the bright side nigeria has likethe 2nd most arable land in Africa and it is in the top 20 in the world and that will help nigeria to grow it s economy, population and wealth
A lot of Nigerians, Congolese, and Ethiopians are gonna have to migrate. Their economies better grow at 10%+ for the next 20 years to support that population growth and they better stop all these conflicts and tribalism.
