Having spent £200 on repairing a chip on a wash basin in my home in England I will in future use this product. The person who came who did an amazing job making my basin made it look new I think the money was well spent.The problem with my basin is that the colour is champagne and so are the rest of the bathroom items bidet toilet and shower tray. Unfortunately this champagne shade is not available in England and we prefer this to stark white. My English wife is delighted with the workmanship. Happy family now.
I’m going to attempt to fix a chip myself on one of sinks. I was able to find the product on Amazon. I don’t know if you’d like a link to it. But just make sure you choose the one with no pricing and then it’ll pop up $. The one before that was $20 😳 for same product. Anyway thank you for the simple and easy to follow video.

I have a hairline crack about 10 inches long on my sink. I've been looking for ways to fill it, as it is more of a cosmetic issue. I'd rather not buy another sink for such a small issue. This could be just what I was looking for!
I don't represent the manufacturer of course, but from my seat, I'm saying..no. Even if you give it a day or so to dry, to sand it, would remove the sheen and cause a matte finish. The sanding should take place prior to painting it on...to the surface...to prep it. The painted on layers should be painted on so thin that sanding would not be necessary after it self-levels.
