No that is not how Priest should be . Gods Law is Law and Sin is sin, you can’t change what’s in the Bible just so people can feel better about their sin. Not it doesn’t have to be done in a hateful way and yes you can agree to disagree with someone , but this is straight pandering . He doesn’t want to offend her but confronting that we are all sinner and we all fall short of the Glory of God Is a hard and offensive thing to realize when you are living in the flesh.
@@legallybored8876 Well he doesn't know if she is religious, so not forcing these ideas that you're a sinner and you're wrong onto someone who doesn't even believe in god and the bible and doesn't view these things as sins and doesn't judge themselves for them is just a respectful thing to do, I appreciate that. Religious people who tell non-religious folks they are sinners and go to hell are the worst. You have no right to judge someone based on your religious rules. God Bless.
I suppose this demonstrates the problem with religion. Most religious leaders or those tied to religion are such a poor representation that when we see someone who is meant to reflect the truth, we can't believe it.

What a fantastic priest this man is, he has shown a side of the Christian faith which has been lost amongst the masses due to media only portraying them in a negative light. I truly hope that he never suffers from those idiots spouting abuse at him again.
The coolest interaction I've ever had with a spiritual leader was with a reverend, drunk, in a bar shooting pool with me and discussing theology and their thoughts on Christianity. In hindsight, it was to me a representation of humanity and honest good. No matter our beliefs on our end and meaning, we are all here together.

This wasn't a debate, they both were actually pretty cautious with their words, they respected each other the whole time, they both were trying to understand the position of the other person, this was an intellectual conversation at the level they both could have. .. This video was really good

The bible does not tell us not to judge at all. What if your kid wanted to become a serial killer? Would you say , that's fine son? No you wouldn't, you would judge there actions! He has a lot of his doctrines twisted. Lust is wrong and separates us from God. Porn is like the highest standard of lust. He was very vague in the way he stood his ground for his faith. Like the sex out of marriage, he wasn't willing to cling to the scriptures on it, bc God says sex is for marriage only. He was kind and loving, but he should've been more persistent in the faith.

I've had really good conversations with them with far ranging subjects, science and knowledge being chief among them and those are directly a reason while I'm still in a religion after some extremists almost chasing me out. It's a shame the work of good ones get lost in the bureaucracy and sometimes evil intentions of big corporate institutions.
I agree with the priest. Sex in marriage there is more fullfilment. Taking the time to get to know each other, understand each other's strengths and weaknesses and accepting them as they are. Going on evening walks and throwing popcorn at each other. Omg that sounds already amazing. My opinion though.
@@QD77 You're right. For me, it doesn't have to be within marriage, but it can be a couple. The point is that its between people that love each other, are loyal, and committed that makes it special.

I used to be a caretaker in a hotel and for a big job I needed a helping hand, the owner got a friend in to help and after 3/4 days of working with the guy and having a few beers in the evening I asked what his real job was, I genuinely almost fell of my chair when he said he was a priest as he really was just one of the lads. I learnt that day how guilty I was of judging people with out knowing it.
This is the essence of "debate". No arguing, no overtly hurt feelings, just two parties discussing their differing opinions over a drink and just having fun with the whole thing.

It's amazing to see this kind of discussion taking place with these two people, most of the time when you wanna have that kind of discussion with someone that is extremely religious, they don't tend to admit that there are shades of gray within such aspects of society, this priest on the other hand spoke very well within reason. This kind of debate helps a lot a people understand both sides rather than just have one side trying to out speak the other and tag it as "Wrong". Excellent content.
I'm loving Ladbible's Agree to Disagree series. A sincere approach to these conversations is far more more fun and interesting than the US's Comedy Central version.
Just everyone who participates in a conversation like this deserves the highest amount of respect, doing something like this and being respectful about the others opinion and learning more about them is so difficult to do, props to these people.

I'm astounded to see how many people are surprised that the priest is a normal guy. Maybe people's perceptions of the world are too closely aligned to how the media portray them and don't even think about the human behind the stereotype.
As an atheist, I really like this priest. His statements are based on his own understanding, and he is intelligent. No bs bible verses, no discrimination. Just being open.

With the best will in the world, Matt really conducted himself fantastically and did his best to field questions on behalf of the church. Sadly it's nigh on impossible answering questions from an evolving environment from the perspective of a stagnant, immobile faith. Great conversation.

This priest is amazing, wisest I've ever seen speaking perhaps. All priests in Poland (and all over the world) please learn from him, he's compassionate, aware of other person and don't have a hint of false superiority! (and I'm not a fan of church at all, but him as a person is amazing, if there was more priests like him, I guess they could bring much good to society).

I really enjoyed the civil, understand, & accepting conversation these two “”opposites”” had, really shows that with an open mind and good communication anything can aspire.
Tolerance is the death of liberty. It should be a consequence, and NOT the intent of an enlightened society. A truly intelligent discourse would involve both of them enforcing their beliefs in a manner that would be hard to interpret as indecisive, yet still be respectful. Not one half-idiot pornstar and another half committed priest "agreeing to disagree". That's daft. It achieved nothing and makes them look like cowards, and you look like you lack the guts to witness real confrontation. This was pandering, not an honest conversation.
Loving these videos, i think the moral everybody could learn from these is that, neither side is always completely wrong nor are they always completely right. There is no need for extreme opinions about certain topics.
As someone who has never been religious nor ever will be this is great to watch. They are both respectful to each other’s views and the conversation is honest.
