Porsche 356 Drive along PCH (Big Sur) - Porsche 356 Registry West Coast Holiday 

so happy to see this car on the road living its 2nd life.

That’s one thing that I can really appreciate about the old porsche guys is that a lot of them really drive their car.

Back to Big Sur! $7 gas? That's the great thing about Porsches. Its one of the few brands where people brag about how many miles their cars have.

I bought my one and only Porsche in Big Sur in 1965. It was a 1953 bent window coupe in black. 100% original, and parked for a few years. Price.. and yes this is true.. $100. I drove it for a year and sold it for $1100. I was 19. I moved on to British , which I favor. Several T series cars then MGA, MGC , Rover SD1 and a 1959 Fairthorpe Electron Climax that would out run and out handle the Porsches of the time. I miss the Porsche ( for its current value) and I sorely miss the Fairthorpe, one of 21 built. There is nothing like it.

Watched you push, pull, and hammer this rollover wreck back into original shape (give or take) which, in itself was extremely impressive and entertaining. Now seeing you enjoy it on the open road, struggling to keep up with the geezers was a hoot. Much respect from up the coast in Santa Cruz.

Great video 👍 Such a great car. Nice feature that you can easily reach the vent window or pop out on the passenger side. My 356 decided to go down to two cylinder idle (left side not firing) in the end of my last longerish trip, so have to sort that out. Probably idle jets clogged. Didn't change anything to swap spark plugs or ignition cables from side to side.
