Comparison of the exhaust sound - OEM vs. Akrapovic Slip-race titanium
Inclusive OPF.
The sound of the new Porsche GT4 718 is muted thanks to the OPF filter.
The noise level increased with Akrapovic slightly - see. measured values.
However, the change is in a tone that is now significantly deeper and hoarse.
Wait for the comparison of the two exhausts at the end of the video.

Thank you for the comparison video. i’ve been considering the Akrapovic Link pipe set but the Slip on sounds just as good.

You're right. The link pipe is certainly louder, but deleting OPF by using also for public roads is in EU not allowed.

The exhaust was changed short before winter time. I plan to make next video by driving. It will be also possibility to compare sound with on/ off valve control from Cargraphic.

Did you use the Akapovic sound kit? If not does the OEM how does the sport exhaust valve controller affect the sound when it closes the valves between 2-4k RPM?

OEM closed the valves between 2,7-4 rpm. The sound with Akrapovic is still increasingly pithy than the OEM version, but muted. After installation the valves controller from Cargraphic for 350 EUR - the sound is now incl. Akrapovic exhaust amazing even at low speeds. www.cargraphic.de

if you r in Vancouver your car will be dead, you have no idea how VPD target sports car like this since 2018 . the exhaust sound in the video if they test it will be more than 90 DB for sure . They even target the fully stock sports car and give you ticket just to full their dirty pocket . Your car is 2 loud not because its 2 loud, its because they said its 2 loud :)

Your've right the new cars go with the sound down. The video should present differece Akrapovic inc.OPF filter to OEM version.
