@@sunnyboy8644 Why??? Way less fun, less driver skill required, less driver involvement and engagement. Why in the world would anyone want the pdk over a sweet shifting manual transmission? Any grandmother and her sister can drive an automatic transmission but someone with real skill is required to drive a manual transmission properly I guess you don't have that skill.
240 is a safe number, just like the expiration date on many products, it's not the actual limit, so going over that for a couple of seconds isn't really dangerous
They rate them very low usually for safety and liability reasons. My dads winter tires are limited to 200 I think but he said F that his weekly commute is long (400km trip) and the Autobahn is empty so these tires have rolled at least 1000km with over 200 kmh without any problems.
happy owner of a 981 version of the GT4. This one won't make me swap. Except for a more efficient aero, nothing is worth the trade off in my opinion. As the 981 version was a limited edition I think they'll hold their value more than these 718
He was pointing out that the steering wheel is classic in its simplicity and function, not crammed with as much functionality and tech buttons as possible. It's a steering wheel used to steer the car with a nice 12 o'clock notch. Brilliant and concise wording, I thought.
Canada here, I'm on the waiting list for a GT4, the only real concern I have is I'm not sure if Canadian cars will get the gasoline particulate filters which really deaden the amazing sound. The salesman I spoke to assured me that we don't get those filters I hope he's right because sound is a big part of the experience for me. I'm crossing my fingers that we don't get those nasty filters here.
Great video once again... but a slight correction... this engine is not related to the 3.0TT engine in the 992. They are different according the Andreas P.
Love the Porsche.. anyone who has played the Need for Speed V - specially Porsche oriented. So realistic, damage fish tailing etc. brilliant game for its time.
Watching this after the F430 video, both great cars but it's amazing how perfectly set up the 430 is considering the age. The gear ratios really hurt the performance of the GT4.
Tiexin Guo What’s the waiting time? Must be disappointing to wait any longer than necessary for this dream car...but whenever you’ll get it, you will be happy. Great choice and good night, sir.
Neil Joseph not sure for if you're in Europe. But it took my 718 Boxster 10 months from factory in Leipzig since the day the dealership sent the order from Vietnam to Germany. 10 months for it to get here.
Max’s English is that good it’s almost as if he is putting on a Dutch accent! I’d have this car in Crayon over pretty much anything else out there at the moment!
Well, I am happy that Porsche has moved back to NA as turbos always muffle the sound (and sound is one of the 2 most important things in a sports/fast car) + make you lose your license but I have a feeling that there is something wrong with the noise of this new flat6 (between 5k and 3k when revs are dropping down - I just sounds like a rough 3 cylinder engine) is not as good as the one used in 981
1. i LOVE this car. if I could choose a Porsche i would be this one 2. your channel is great. you have a very entertaining and clear voice, picture is great, quality is great. great great great. and you are funny and authentic. i like this. 3. for me as a german its great how you pronounce "indisch rot" absolutely akzentfrei ;-) 4. your channel is great!
It is a piece of Art. Dream car for sure. But the exhaust closes at 2k rpm , so if you want to true listen to it you need to bypass it. Google it. Not expensive and for sure worth it.
AutoTopNL - curious where the 0.6 sec faster than the 718 Spyder came from. According to Porsche, both 718 versions clocked in at 4.2 sec. We know those are conservative by Porsche, but Car and Driver has reported the 718 Spyder doing 0-60 in 3.8 sec.
I love this car and the previous GT4 so much, but I just wish they wouldn’t have ruined the car with bad gear ratios. I want to be able to row my own gears and not get taken to jail while only being in second gear. I know a lot of aftermarket companies will or already do have solutions to fix the issue, but wish the car would have come with shorter gears from factory.
Max how was the exhaust note on this GT4 compared to the previous one? I'm asking because I heard that this generation has something called gasoline particulate filters which deaden the sound. Would you rate this new generation the better car of the two?
Amazing ! Amazing video.... Amazing Porsche... By the way, Thank you man now I hate every single car in the world, even my car.... Man ! Hhhhhhhh Didn't disappoint me to watch this gorgeous outstanding state-of-the-art video
I imagine this car went from one of the best modern Porsche investments to depreciating heavily. Because people didn’t know for sure Porsche would make another GT Cayman car.
Max, Is that correct? my dealer in the UK has told me different. I’m waiting for the pdk Spyder. I have to keep hassling him to get answers. Regards Gary
Gary Doctor I’ve been to the USA twice and I was afraid of the cops as far as the speed limit is concerned. Don’t get me wrong, but what’s the point of owning a car this fast while maxing it out is illegal in your country? No offend, just wondering, sir.
