Join me during a trackday at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli onboard a Porsche 718 GT4. To whoever believes racing drivers are not athletes and that driving around a circuit fast is not challenging, I would prescribe a trip to Misano. The balls required to enter the “Curvone” at more than 200 kph whilst being inches away from other cars cannot be described. Entering a corner at such speeds reminds you of how impressive the car’s grip is, but at the same time how quickly things could go wrong. However, even after all of these reflections, our passion for cars will always be a good enough reason for yet another thrilling lap!
