The metalwork is where all the skill and interesting parts are at! Anyone can fit new parts.. 😬 Those scuttle repairs were pretty unbelievable! So many layers of tricky pieces. Wouldn’t know where to start! You are a magician 👏🙌
Don't apologize. This is what we're here to see. You've saved a classic from destruction. Whoever removes the airbag suspension in twenty years will be able to say the same thing. 😂
Haha….airride is but of a dirty words (or is it two?) right? I’m keen to see (feel) how it handles but it’ll be running some of the most advanced tech on the market so I’m quietly confident it’ll be good!!
Best and most enjoyable video yet, outstanding fabrication, would be beyond the large majority of other guys out there doing this, to turn that dashboard into a seamless finish free hand is pure talent 👍
Impressive work on those skuttle panels, very tricky. Good job it doesn’t have a sunroof, hate to think what state the drains tubes would have been in. Looking forward to the seeing the custom air ride and wondering how it will handle compared to stock.
Thank you! I think the air ride should handle pretty well, the tech in the new Airride Performance is pretty amazing. We shall see!!! We’re installing the same air management system in the mk1 golf we’re doing at the moment too!
great to watch as always. I'm fascinated but how onion like all the metal work is explains why the rust as they do and why it costs what it does to replace. When you weld patches in around the screen, how do you know it's not moved and the screen will still fit?
