This is a video showing a couple different ways on how I did a rear wheel bearing on my 1980 911sc. I’m not a professional, I’m only showing how I did my bearings on my car. Hope this helps you find a way to do yours. Take your time and have fun.

Nice Job Joe!! I Just Removed My Spring Plates and Torsion Tubes. Being This Far, I Probably Should Do the Wheel Bearings and Swing Arm Bushings. Thanks Again, Scotty

Might want to put some anti seize between the steel shroud and the aluminum arm. It will be appreciated in the future. Nice car.

I had the same problem getting my parking brake housing off the trailing arm. For your other viewers if you make two cuts on the side of the housing, you can then get the housing off without damaging it, and be able to weld it back together.

Is this a wide body kit or does the wheel/tire fitment just give that illusion?

Great for the DIY..thanks..What are the metal pieces that you wound up having to tear away from the arm...? You said they were available new and were pricey. I cant believe that the bearing replacement would include tearing up two sheet metal parts to remove the bearings..Anyway, this gave me the confidence to move forward on replacing mine..and what new parts I may need when I do it..

Sorry for the late reply, they're the E brake cable / brake dust Sheild covers. awesome it gave you the confidence to dive in! you might not have to rip your dust shield off mine were just in really bad shape.

Nice video - thanks for sharing. At 6 minutes, you’re hammering the hub while the arm is secured in the vice by the ear. Terrible, terrible idea. But otherwise, all good.
