Spirited drive up Angeles crest Highway. There's a reason why all the videographer film their videos up this highway it's absolutely spectacular. Sport driving with four of my friends on a beautiful November day 2023.

Dave, that looks like a fun drive and just spurs me on to finish my car! Quick question, that side mirror…it does not look stock but does not look like a flag mirror from a ‘90’s 911 either. Could you tell me what it is? I like the look of it and have been trying to decide do I keep the stock appearance or go to a bigger “better” mirror? It’s always a struggle for me as I want to keep the vintage look.

Thanks for the kind words. My dad bought the car in 83. I had another 914 with Stock mirrors. I really like the bigger mirrors. I don't think you need one on the right side. Mine are some offbrand but there's really cool vintage racing mirrors available from the 70s, I think there's some good choices out there.

Whatever is hanging on a cord from your rear-view mirror drives me crazy. How can you live that stupid thing?

I get a lot of comments on that it's matchbox toy that looks like my car. When I'm driving I look right past it. I never see it but I really like the way it looks in the video it's a love or hate thing I get it.

It's a matchbox toy and it's my GeForce meter. When driving you don't see it at all, you look right past it.
