The rear of the current cayenne should've looked something like this from the start. The number plate being up there on the bootlid makes the rear look so fat in the normal one and that makes it look disproportionate when you look at the rear and the perky front together.

The coupe had a roof which was lower and more rakish than that of the saloon: it was cut down and, therefore, a coupe. This Porsche follows exactly the same formula. A two door version of a saloon which is neither shortened not lowered us a two door saloon : not a coupe. A car which is designed from the outset to have two doors isn't a coupe, it's a berlinetta. Coupe is the logical name for a vehicle such as this Porsche, or its Mercedes and BMW rivals.
