I have an 06 cayenne and your video was exactly what I went through to successfully change my own bulb! Thank you for posting this! The only thing was I had to forcefully and carefully yank my light out after unscrewing the 2 bolts. Carefully, not to rip out the plug and wiring. The ball joint was stronger than anticipated.

My 05 needed a T30 to remove the 2 bolts. Thank you for the video

Thanks Cody! This was brilliant - I just changed my light and followed your instructions - very clear. Also got a question - I happened to discover during my brake light change that one of the torque nuts and plate holding light in is missing (held together by different screw). Do you know where we could source replacements? (Nut and plate look easy enough to fit). (I have a 2004 Cayenne)

So all 5 bulbs are the exact same?

Would 1157 led be acceptable for brake light without the 50w resistor ?

Now I know how to do it when I get one in 10 years from now :)

Is there a way to check whether the bulbs are gone or if it’s a mechanical/wiring issue with the back tail lights. We are buying 2004 but the tail light and back brake lights don’t work so we are wondering if it’s just a bulb or other issue. Can we check with om meter?

Mine seems stuck, took bolts off and even with some pressure, light compartment wouldn’t come out, argh

I broke the plastic fitting the button fit in to. Gotta find one of those.

Can you do want on changing headlight

does this apply to the 2011-2013 model too?
