That Turbo GT is "The Best" SUV/SAV for driving enthusiasts! I'd take it over the Urus. It would be even better w/ CF bonnet. A quarter million dollars for the ultimate drivers SUV. I love that interior!
yeah but it is no use of a suv , the ride isnt good and it cant go on gravel as the suspension will collapse, there is very less apce for the rear passengers , the cabin is cramped then how can this be an suv, if i want a sporty porsche that suits only on the road and track i will take the 911 turbo s which is an actual car which has better fuek efficiency, better driving, better handling, better acceleration
@@nayanhazra4356 - I concur, a Porsche Turbo S or GT3 or GT4 RS would be my choice from the Porsche lineup. However, if u have kids or something - that Cayenne Turbo GT can still put a smile on your face. I also like the Porsche wagons or shooting brake models. Porsche is my favorite car company!

After seeing all of the reviews of this SUV - I’m convinced it’s putting AT LEAST 700hp to the wheels from the factory! You’re not fooling anyone Porsche! Lol 3.1 - 60mph is NUTS!
What is actually stupid is calling aerodynamics stupid. Those roof spoiler side plates divert the air in a certain direction while increasing its velocity, they act as vortex generators, a fact which aids the rear trunk spoiler, at the same time they increase the efficiency in downforce coefficient of the roof spoiler itself, the same goes for every spoiler or surface that bears side plates. I'm sure Porsche knows a thing or two more than you on aero and fluid dynamics.
Says who? In another review, they said Porsche themselves said they do nothing but look cool. So where did you get your info? It wouldnt be the first time parts are put on that does effectively nothing, after all.
@@gyula6516 - I'm pretty sure it set some record at the Nurburgring. Porsche is kicking ass right now. They need something to replace 918 as new hypercar. With Rimac partners I suspect we'll see another hybrid or EV in a couple years.
"Less power",.... well maybe just on paper! By the way: the Urus engine actually is a Porsche/Audi V8 biturbo engine! The reason for all this bullshit is, that VW group is kind of forced doing some idiotic things to justify the idioticly high Lamborghini Urus prices. Therefore a Lamborghini Urus "has to have" higher hp numbers. But we all know, the truth is, that Porsche is the engineer and maker of these engines and knows 1000 things more about this engine, than Lamborghini does. This brandnew Porsche V8 engine of course has more horsepower than the Urus engine, which actually is quite an old engine.

This thing would've been absolutely perfect if it was available as the regular SUV style instead of the Coupe, I much prefer the styling of the former. And more full leather color options as well or their Exclusive Manufaktur leather would've been icing on the proverbial cake. Not all of us want the "light wearing" of alcantara and want to be able to drive the thing without the interior looking like a matted dog after a couple years 😅
It really is amazing that if only Audi would use Porsche's PDK their engine would be way faster in their own model cars! Instead they use their own slush-box of a transmission while Porsche takes their same engine, mate it to their PDK and it does 0-60 in 3.1seconds. AMAZING

@@faris1328 Forget about all this "1/4 mile drag racing" bullshit, because the Cayenne Turbo GT is so much more than only "drag racing". Of course the Turbo GT is faster than all these other "performance SUVs", like Urus, Trackhawk, X6M, RSQ8. The Cayenne Turbo GT is even faster around the Nürburgring Nordschleife than this "highly praised" Tesla Model S Plaid with 1000+ hp, which gains all its lap time only in all the straights on the Nordschleife. But it's just shit around corners and bends, whereas the Turbo GT is like a true sports car. It's fun to drive even in bends. Like with any other Porsche model: if Porsche decides to fully engage with such a vehicle in different class of cars, any other "competitor" vehicle immediately looks like shit. You can't beat this amount of Porsche experience from 70 years racing success, like 19 times overall and 108 class victories at the 24 hours of Le Mans race. Porsche is so far ahead in transmission- and suspension technology, that all these other "performance vehicles" look like toys.
I’ve owned a few cayennes . Wife wanted an Urus because her mate has one....it’s a tarts car. Zero off road ability and just an Audi rolled in glitter but lovely sound. Bentayga we had for a while, very like the cayenne but attracted too much attention. Managed to get a get Gt turbo After looking at a dbx707. It is brilliant I’ve done a few trips from London to Istanbul with detours via Switzerland . I carry wife, cat and fishing and shooting equipment. It swallows everything, handles brilliantly, ok off-road and it’s got the noise I like. Only problem is my collection of speeding pics, I had to change the registration for France and Germany.
At first I was cautious to give a thumbs up... simply because I love cars, I respect Porsche and I hate the concept of "power SUVs" (fight me). But @ around 10:00 I am relieved you see my point of view, so again you had mine. Great review as always!!
All of the manufacturers are releasing super powerful combustion engine cars now, like they want to say goodbye to that era and make a last statement, before they completely dump the V12s, V10s and the V8s (in the future).
@@alfredkc I see where you're coming from but that sounds rather emotional than rational, because, as much of a car enthusiast i am, a real car (to me at least) is just a transportation machine with 4 wheels, no matter if it's powered by fuel or electricity.
I doubt Model X will come out on Nurbugring or track in general,Porsche holds the record for SUV as well. GLE is quick,quite good on the ring ,but not awesome

better buy the GTS, is almost the same engine, little bit of tuning, order it with all the good options like teh ceremic brakes, and then it still saves you 20k or more. PP performanche tunes it over 700hp easy. Maby a little less "on edge" driving experiance, but a way better "daily".
this is true..This Porsche Cayenne is faster than all popular SUVs and Tesla. I saw it race the Lambo Urus, Tesla something whatever it was, Jeep SRT, BMW and it left them behind. Go PORSCHE!!! Love it...Im trading in my Cayenne for this new one!!!!
Pretty solid choice, especially if you've got some family (or other passengers requirements). I've heard they're incredible to drive (for such a heavy whip). My dream car is the new GT4 RS! Mid engine & lightweight w/ stunning looks & engineering perfection!
@@scottiecopasetic8315 yeah man, I live in Mexico and the roads here are pretty damn fucked, potholes and stops everywhere. It's a constante suffer to drive such a low car like the 911. The new GT4 RS looks wild fast as well
