We have owned the GT4 for almost 2 years now and we look back through the ownership experience. #porsche #porschegt4 #porschecars #porschecayman #coolcars #automotive #exoticcars
I got a Turbo GT never having driven one. I feel the same about my car. I’m only 4 months in, but it’s simply flawless. The driving experience is thrilling at any speed and the car is completely usable. Worth every cent. I went for it based on my years of experience with Porsche. This is the 4th Porsche I’ve owned, they have been flawless vehicles.
Congrats on your new GT4! I love mine, gives me a smile every time. If you have any question please let me know. I have a few DIY videos for the GT4 that covers both the 981 and 781 but there is also some other good videos on RU-vid as well.
I bought mine a month after you did and I recall looking at two sapphire blue GT4s on auto trader. Probably one of them is now yours. Great car. Great video.
Oh neat! I really wanted this color and the moment I found one that was in the condition I was looking for I reached out to the seller. It was an adventure getting it from California to Colorado but we did it. Congrats on yours as well. Thanks for watching the video and make sure to check out our other videos. 🤘🏽
I also have a 981 GT4 and love it. My GT4 has the ceramic brakes as well as the carbon fiber trim you spoke of. The only modification I have done is remove the ugly yellow stickers on the visors. It really makes a difference in how it looks inside and is easy and no cost. The only other mod that I am considering is to change out my grey seatbelts to yellow to match the calipers. Yours would look great with yellow belts as well. The blue would really make them pop. Mine is Agate Grey with yellow stitching and door pulls so the yellow would be great. Anyway, great job and keep enjoying the car....I sure do.
Awesome! I’ve never thought of removing the yellow stickers of the sun visors. Really neat idea. How did you do it? And I agree, yellow seat belts would love so cool. They are pretty expensive but that make a big difference.
Same here. Never ever drove one or sat in one and only watched all the reviews and flew in to buy mines. This is the car I will regret to sell out of all my previous cars. And I agree that this car comes so perfect that you don’t need to mod it (besides headers maybe lol)
Hahah I’ve thought about headers and an exhaust but it’s sounds pretty good already and I can’t afford that Porsche tax for the two. It’s like 5K for headers I believe.
Order the tires now because a lot of the good ones are backordered over a month. There are rods that screw in after removing the lugs to help guide the wheel past the PCCBs before falling. I think they're included in the tool set when you spec PCCBs. I would keep the GT4 until caymans are electric because it will appreciate a lot while the F430 will probably depreciate some. One change you could make is maybe getting a JCR exhaust? We have the exact same taste in cars but I'm just a little further behind. Patiently waiting/hoping for a GT4 allocation.
@@DriversTherapy probably in 6 months to a year but I'm trying to get one without ADM, so I might just get pushed back by everyone willing to pay more. It has been my dream car for a couple of years now though. Once they're electric, I'm no longer interested. Keep up the great content!
I hear the GT2 is amazing but out of my budget. I am worried about the reliability of a Ferrari, but I think one day I will get one to find out and own one.
I use it plenty. I live in a non-crowded beautiful part of the country. with canyons and mountains, before that I was a Spec Miata race car driver, no HPDE events will ever come close to real racing.
