Kyle heads out on an epic adventure in the new 2025 Porsche Taycan Refresh from Stuttgart Germany to Istanbul Turkey. This trip takes him through places such as Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, and finally ending in Turkey. He is joined by his friend ‪@maxreportage‬ on the adventure. I love out of spec, but I always watch it at 1.5x, I jump to 2x and then back to 1.5x. occasionally I'm at 1.25x if I have a hard time understanding what is said. but basically 1.5x feels "normal" for me.

@@KyleConner Yeah the police just got them. (the whole nation is pissed as you can imagine) From Hyundai i30 1.4L they will totaled half them in 2 months time :-) You definatlly had to go through the Sofia,( mix of great and comunist architecture and crazy expesive cars) Gelemenovo was hilarious place TBH Although Fines (it is pronounced like Finesse) is great charging nework but you somehow found the most akward places :-))) It was hilarious! and the graveyard.... :-))) Great trip Kyle and so fun to watch! Thank you brother! 🙂

What an awesome roadtrip! I've spent a lot of time in Sofia Bulgaria it's a wonderful city. I would Love to do a trip like this one day but the single chargers you stopped at would make me a little nervous if they went tech. Looks as though you had plenty of bailout options though. The name of town on the border of Bulgaria and Turkie is called Svilengrad. It can be seen transliterated in English in Google maps.

Yes, now we need a Europe north to south trip. The southern tip of Italy to northcape and through the Baltics for something different. Unless Kyle needs to try to the charging on the ferries from Germany to Sweden to add more unusual chargers to the list.

Hi from Bulgaria :) I didn`t know that you were coming here, I would love to meet you. Fines have the best charging infrastructure in Bulgaria especially in South Bulgaria from Sofia to Turkey or the Black Sea resorts. There are other options too but are pretty much limited to 120 or 50 KW.

@@KyleConner You could have stopped at Ionity Sop (Zagreb), you passed a mile away from it; true, you would have arrived with high SoC, but 5min stop would give you an ease of mind all the way to Belgrade. btw, next time you come to Croatia, make sure to hit the scenic routes, torwards the coast (I can join you with my CT 4s). There's plenty of Ionity chargers on the way.

Thanks a lot for this awesome experience ! ! ! i have done something similar with my Model 3 LR, 2 years ago from Spain till Greece, round trip and of course i am preparing to do it again with my new Model S Plaid. With Tesla Supercharges is a complete different story, so i would like to ask if you had problems downloading the apps for charging or putting your billing information etc ? Specially in the Balkan vicinity. Thumbs up for the awesome trip ! 🚗

I did this on 1967 in a 1962 Chrysler New Yorker station wagon. Yugoslavian roads left something to be desired. Had a wreck in Istanbul and drove home with the door wired shut..

Don’t know if you got to drive over the bridge to Asia - when I was working near Yalova we used to travel from the old Istanbul Airport to Yalova over the bridge until the Bosporus Tunnel opened and then we went to and from Yalova (on the Asian side) under the sea! I also did the trip by hydrofoil / high speed ferry a couple of times

1:31:55 - Route 80 used to run from San Diego, CA eastwards, but now just runs from Dallas, TX to Tybee Island, GA (part of Savannah). It runs in part where I-20 is now.
