@@twizzy8783 "So well spoken" has nothing to do with race, they're ton of black, white, green people that are not well spoken. nothing wrong with acknowledging that someone is
@@therealtraboHe means it's not helpful to properly understand the scale as adults differ (weight, height, size, etc), but if a standard measuring unit was used, it'll be helpful as it remains constant everywhere.
@pacinpm2 yes you are 100% correct but us Americans don’t ever have to use standard measurements outside of sports. Way way more people will get the correct sense of scale if you say something is 2 football fields long rather than 600 ft. Especially with volume, no one has a sense of what 14 cubic feet is, but two human bodies immediately gives a rough but visceral idea of volume.
I love in the Nevera and this Taycan video you are explaining things to the regular viewer, but also explaining things for the actual customer base that of course they would have an extra vehicle for road trips so range is less of a concern, etc.
MORE MILES. I really love yhe dynamic of 2 channel host. Especially because they are similar in style yet i feel offer different things so your getting a very striaght forward and consistent reviews
this was sick, I really liked the hill climb talking portion. side mounted shot of the car taking the turns was insane, cool to see the suspension working so hard to keep it planted. 10/10 video
Honestly having Miles do the Auto Focus reviews just works. I love having Marques here but I think this will allow us to get more videos on this channel as Marques slowly takes over the world. Not to mention wasn’t it Marques who said he appreciates people whose name is made for their job?
No to mention is perspective is actually quite refreshing, not to say that Marques is stale, it’s just nice to see more of the team coming to the forefront.
This channel gives me Top Gear vibes. Switching up the presenter depending on the type of car. Also it would be impossible for Marques to review EVERY car that comes through.
I really like this in depth review style. Slow enough to be informative but quick enough to still be entertaining. I don’t feel much for the Taycan, but those wheels and that *color* are phenomenal.
The active chassis is a gamechanger. It really is. The lucid is maybe nice for cruising... but no EV even comes close to the Taycan GT in terms of driving dynamics
14:20 - I do not know what to think about htese nature sounds. On the one side I listen to those myself to relax and sleep. BUT When I drive on the German Autobahn I am more in a concentrated mood. However, for lower speeds and adaptive cruise control situations, this is an awesome feature.
Good to see that Miles is now so much more comfortable in front of the camera! And he is so competent, which is rare these days. Keep it up, dude! A new raising star!
The Audi A8 had the 'lift to enter' feature about 6 years ago. It's now filtering down to other vehicles. The active suspension (in the Audi) can also rapidly lift the car if it senses a side impact, so the sill takes the brunt of a collision.
Love how deep you went on this video. Super in-depth. Particularly with the tech. This is what is missing from lots of other reviews out there. Keep it up Miles
I have seen a few review channels add capable reviewers and get less than desired feedback.. what I believe most channels miss is the intro from the ‘main host’ to explain what’s going on and be a part of the initial 5-10 reviews (a cameo at minimum) while viewers get comfortable with the fact that the new reviewer is going to stay in the lane of style and content that viewers are expecting. Great job Miles!
That's a pretty accurate and balanced review. If you want a high performance electric Porsche with a nod to practicality, this is it. But if you want the best overall EV performance sedan without compromise, it's the Lucid Air Sapphire all day long.
I think the „GT“ part of the car was lost in this video a little bit. It’s all valid criticism for a performance sedan competing against cars like the Lucid Air Sapphire, but the Taycan Turbo GT isn’t really competing against those cars. It’s a different class; That’s why you can order it without backseats and a cage…
Bro my guy had that shit on!!!!! I’ve seen his reflection when he was talking about the side skirts and my guy got that fit on!!! Fire! Also great video! 🎉
9:10 You can get ventilated seats but not with Race-Tex, only with normal leather (and with the adaptive sport seats as in the video not the bucket seats).
Since this is porche's electric vehicle, why is it named TURBO GT. Is it turbo charged? Granting that it has no exhaust Chambers. I think porche has to answer that. IF MKBHD can do me a favour and throw that question to porche, I would love to know the answer.❤❤
Yes! I've been waiting for Auto Focus to dive into and talk about CarPlay more in the vehicles you guys test. I'm on the lookout for my next car to have this next generation of CarPlay, so talking about it was really appreciated.
The one thing that should be mentioned about practicality is that Porsche does offer the Taycan in the Cross-Turismo variant. Meaning you can get an even more practical performance sedan than the Lucid Safire with performance that is close. Especially considering you most likely won't be getting close to it's full potential, if its your daily.
13:50 welcome to THE JUMANJI, Mr. Miles. Now that you've summoned the flying beasts of the urban jungle, you may not leave the car until you've finished the review🤣🤣🤣
This looks lit compared to the previous gen Tycan. And also the paint is dope. IMO this is the 3rd best looking Porsches ever made, next to 918 Spyder and Carrera GT.
Porsche is still making drivers cars Taycan is so much better than Lucid for me, definitely on the bucket list of cars to own 😊😂 can't wait for you to test drive updated Audi E-tron GT ❤❤. Keep up with great work MKBHD, Miles and the team
Glad to see Miles on more vidoes because his enthusiasm really shows. I must say tho, i wish Porsche didn't do away with the tear drop design because i absolutely loved it and wanted to buy this car in the future because of it but oh well i suppose I'll have wait for the Mission E.(If it ever comes that is)
The back seats in this car are good for a mid-sized sedan. At least the normal Turbo GT has back seats, which is something the model with the Weissach package can't say.
Rivian’s software and architecture will be implemented in all Taycans pretty soon. The software will be unbelievably better. VW group has ALREADY tested Rivian’s zonal architecture in many of its vehicles already. It works. And it’s coming. I can’t wait to see it.
13:49 Hearing birds chirping while driving in a dense city must feel kind of ironic^^ This car looks great. I really like the platform and its capability of charging with much more impressive numbers compared with the former model. If I were rich, this might be a car I would look into ^^
lol I started watching it and had to pause to take care of something. When I tried to resume, it no longer existed 😕 I had just passed the part where he’s showing off the center console (which btw also had coin holders) 😊
