All of that AI Assistant and Self Driving Software tech is Extremely Suspect -- Humans will destroy themselves with creating to much Tech -- Just imagine Government Agencies and other bad actors Targeting individuals and hacking their cars to Kill them
I think I’m missing a word how I would feel like having to drive this car. Like, overwhelmed by useless features, annoyed by gadgety tech, bothered by complexity of little things, nervous about that AI assistant not being able to perform the easiest tasks and it also has a load time for a “hello”. Maybe the word I’m looking for is: scared?
I've always though this new MBUX system looks like Windows Vista!! I so agree with that- makes the software look dated and ages the interior w how big "Hyper Screen" is.
The only EV SUVs that I can think of that are actually not ugly are Cadillac Lyriq, Escalade and The Kia EV9. Legit cant think of any others at the top of my head
Suffers the same problem as BMW. They insist on a GIANT FAKE GRILL, so you end up with an expensive car that looks cheap and bad. (Not saying the car itself is bad or not nice inside...just the exterior looks)
Completely agree; this is why I have not upgraded. I hate the look of all the new models. Mercedes has lost the design style that was their signature. .. and no it doesn’t have to look like that. That was a choice. I hate it.
The problem with Electric Cars is the HYPE is always so high while the Experience keeps hitting snags. When ICE automobiles first came out, there were no Gas Stations and you had to buy gasoline at pharmacies and hardware stores. I don't know if there were people Hyping Gas as much back then, but it was definitely better than horse manure all over the city streets. We've gotten away from that, (except for the Human Poop in San Francisco).
Charging infrastructure is ONLY one thing - albeit very important like stated in this vid. The number of charge points, here in Australia, needs to quadrutple at least. The OTHER thing that needs VAST improvement is battery technology. The relatively short run time ('range anxiety causing') and the LONG untenable charging times is what is killing it for me. These two things and the infrastructure improvements will be when EVs are worth it. Definitely not until. Me? I'm betting it is at least 10 years away when these 3 things are satisfactory and equal in convenience to petrol cars. Hybrids are a valid fill-in until then if you feel you absolutely must do EV in some way. let's just hope you're not one of the atrocious virtue signalers . . .
I have one EQE SUV 350 4 Matic.car is good, range is good, but software prblems let my car out at the dealer for 60 days. They gave me back the car without fixing the problem. They don't know when the new software will available.
I’m soooo happy someone finally talked about the hideous outdated looking ui that Mercedes does. Idk why but the visual cockpit is actually designed really nice but the rest of the ui on the main display is just shiet
It's funny because it's way way the least ugly amon those listed. The bmw is just completely obnoxious with that front, tesla can't really compare with the finishing quality it's just a completely different customer base, and the mach e looks not bad compared to a suv but it's just not as refined and it's very uninspiring as i understand. I don't know if this is a good car or not but looks? no contest. One-eyed among the blind.
It is the entitlement engendered by a mindless capitalist machine that is out of control. Yet most humans are so stupid they accept their lot in life as though it were some sort of penance and they accept the plutocracy as though it were some divinely ordained order.
