I am officially addicted to your channel!!! When I drive on the beach I lower my tire pressure to under 20 PSI. It gives you a lot more tire surface area and harder to get stuck. You can fill back up at Valero when your off the beach. Take care and thank you for all the great content.

I love the small communities of good Samaritans throughout the country. In my neck of the woods it's mostly pulling people back on the road during snowy winters. But more often it's helping change a flat tire. I usually carry a battery powered impact, so that helps get them back on the road nice & quick. It's definitely not like it used to be with people helping people, but it's not completely gone thankfully.

TY for helping those that get a flat. I was 79 yrs old and made a tight turn into a road with only one narrow lane open due to construction. I turned into the sun and could not see that there was debris on my right side. Something punctured the sidewall of my right front tire and by 1/2 mile it started to feel mushy in steering. I luckily found a somewhat flat place to park quickly and began the difficult task of lowering the spare from under the 4x4 Tacoma's bed. I had just bought the truck and the users manual gave no idea of how to jack it up from the front. But two much younger men saw me and stopped in a heavy commercial van and using both our jacks we soon had the spare on and the flat tire and wheel in the bed.

@@dennis78382 I grew up in Western Corpus Christi. I fished Port A hard in the early 60's for tarpon & shark from late June to October. They had a good tarpon bite many mid to late summer days in mid-afternoon. And again in early fall when the schools returned to Mexico for winter. My personal best was a 6ft 8inch beauty from Horace Caldwell Pier, that weighed about as much as me. That was in 1961, the year of Hurricane Carla. Boy did Carla wreck that town. The mayor was in the Coast Guard Station, high up on steel reinforced concrete pilings, and he radioed a report to the weather bureau in C.C. TX. He said: The wind is 140 mph, the tide is up14 ft, the waves are 40 ft high, and brother it's rough. The storm was headed straight for them for days even though Dan Rather had gone on NBC Fake News and told everyone it would hit on Galveston. Rather was a Houstin area boy that grew up in Wharton. Carla got 65 miles straight out the jetties from Port A and stopped, then made a slow counter-clockwise circle over 18 hours and made landfall on Port O' Conner. None of this path exists on NOOA TODAY. Landfall was with gusts to 180 mph and a 23 ft tide at the new Hiway 35 causway between Port Lavaca and Point Comfort, which was wrecked. The barge repair business at Point Comfort neasured 175 mph winds. Houses in Port Lavaca were cleaned to the slab by tornadoic winds. Everything in Port O' Conner was severely damaged or destroyed.. Carla was huge, it came ashore in the middle of Texas' Coast, almost straight in, but it moved the mouth of the Rio Grande River 1/2 mile into Mexico. At about same time, it flooded Port Aurthor with 13 ft of tide and rain water. Carla was the worst storm in Texas's recorded history. I had a friend that grew up in Freeport. There was a picture in the local paper of a house floaring down Bastrop Bayou with a small boy on top, he was the soul survivor in his family, big local news. About 15 years later, he told me: A hurricane can't get worse than here in Carla. I told him the wind in Freeport was 120mph, and the tide was 18 ft. Carla hit 90 miles down South of you and had 5 ft more tide water and 60 mph more winds. And note: The force of the wind increases with the square of the velocity. So if you're going to report about boondocking in the Coastal Bend, pls keep in mind us old timers know what biindocking in the city was like. And my cousin's housband in Port A had an expierence surviving the 1919 storm, on a tall sand dune bedded down against the family cow! Now that was boondocking it! My father survived that one on a cotton farm at what is now Ocean Drive. The water came up over the high bluff and they had to let chickens out of their coop to keep them from drowning.

Got Luciano some ice and met three different sets of people that watch my channel so far. Unfortunately I'm still broke and live in my truck. 😀 Floods in some part of the country and drops in the other. Very odd. I just watch some young man wiped out on his bike and he's up he's OK. Young kids doing dumb things. Was trying to do a trick on his bike and went off a 2 foot curb. Not very gracefully. I'm gonna go see if he's OK. Thank you friend. It’s impressive how quiet those huge ships are. I am yearning for some cooler weather - can’t wait for fall! A mild tropical storm would be nice, it usually brings rain all the way up here, too. It’s tough seeing the springs and rivers stop flowing. Last time I remember it being this dry, it was followed by a lot of horrible flooding. I don’t want that, just something in between. Hah Hope you have a good night!

I agree Lisa. Cooler temperatures will be nice but I'm kind of getting used to it. The worst part is not finding a cool shady place in the afternoon just to take a nap.
