Portable Stage Drum Riser 

Hi Brian, I haven't made any risers in a few years. It is what it is, they're all being used they all rock solid. Plywood's too expensive these days and it takes too long to make one affordable. I made all of them out of 5/8 exter B/C plywood unless people wanted to upgrade to 3/4 inch , but it was heavier, And more expensive. My biggest problem was trying to ship them.

@@kwizkid66 Thanks for the follow up! Is it painted with a gloss black, that’s giving it that composite plastic look?

@@BrianHarrisDrummer No, I never used gloss, either a mat or a semi gloss

I routed all the corners and sanded it well! . it was a clean, clean riser

Interesting point .. I had to look that up. I suppose adding acoustic tile to minimize vibrations would reduce. / minimize. Correct?
