Completed the game under 6 hours and i thought i would spoil the ending. Soon i will be uploading all 6hours of me killermillergb and Richybabies completing the game. with all the fails!!!
It might not even be about them... you do realize this, right? Could very well just be the information under every test subject. This doesn't really serve anything of value either, other than to show people your own insecurities.
Im a little late to the discussion but I read she killed them trying to make human weapons, I however can't find proof of this. I also don't know why she would want to make human weapons after chell.
I love this ending, so perfect. I only just realised though that if you read the text on the monitor, these people are actually really important and well qualified people, and GLADoS is just going to kill them with stupidly dangerous tests.
the characteristics of all those test subjects are the same characteristics of the people who work at valve: "always late" "poor attendance record" "underestimates scope of work" "can't read" "cheater" "steals lunch from staff fridge" "ignores task at hand" "never completes work" Is it really a surprise that Half life 3 will never be completed?
Well Glados is actually Caroline , and from what I know she didn’t knew she’d be uploaded in Glados by her crazy scientist lover. So maybe because of that? Idk it’s only my opinion
So i'm guessing you don't do much co-op. Blue bot is Atlas and orange bot is P-Body. The fat turret is the opera turret from the ending song. The strange robot is a turret with a sideways body. The "turtle turret" is actually called a franken-cube.
Wow...even though it can been seen as disturbing by most, hearing GLaDOS's voice when she says "All your testing was worth it! Just LOOK at all those test subjects!" brought a tear to my eye. She maybe be a poor little passive-aggressive A.I. with psychotic tendencies, but to hear her sound so genuinely HAPPY, as if she were going to cry herself, you can't help but feel her joy too. ^_^ Just beautiful.
@A Bcd a little time before Cave died, Aperture Science started having its employees be forced to work as subjects. From what we can see during the co-op, the employees were trying hard to make these subjects out of GLaDOS's reach, so it happened when they were trying to switch her on without murderous thoughts.
Who saw "Caroline Miller" on the monitor? Could that be Caroline's old body after her brain was put into GLaDOS??? And who saw Erik Johnson? A realitive of Cave Johnson?
GLaDOS Main Core well,it came from wheatley,so it has to be a stupid idea. speaking of which, where is wheatley now? in space or that you did to him soemthing?
I was playing Coop and beat it and started enjoying the cutscene, but my connection cut out right before the K names ended. This is really helpful so I can see what I missed out on!
I appreciate you posting the ending. Unfortunately, due to my own hardware issues ( my brain is still v.0.97, apparently ), I can't play the game, but I'm glad to see how much hard work went into this game. Kudos to Valve for creating, and to you, for solving it.
Since portal 2 co op takes place at least over 200 years after half life 2 where we dont know if the combine won (yet) but since theres no other humans who have found aperture theres a good bet humanity is dead and glados killed off the last humans who were in those test tubes
This ending really leaves me (and I'm sure a load of other fans) really hopeful for a Portal 3 so far. God knows that Valve has the fanbase for it (for Portal alone, not just other games). I know a lot of people don't want another one, or think it will suck but... Sorry to sound rude, but who cares? If you don't want another, don't play another. But I know myself and others would be downright thrilled for another game full of endearing puzzles and witty GLaDOS commentary!
I haven't played this game, but seriously? she just blows them up at the end of the game? Please tell me that the fact that they can be re spawned/rebuilt is canon. Also, the credits must be full of inside jokes among the Valve staff.
