1:20, her shock absorber on her leg is dangling. 1:34, she takes it off, to be more comfortable. Now Chell has a magically appearing and disappearing leg brace
Half of the people here don't seem to realise how much hard work and dedication goes into cosplay, especially when you go do an act on stage, it's not that easy, they did a very good job, I loved it!
I still have one of the Companion Cubes, signed by the members of NOTN Cosplay in my home. Can't believe it's been over 10 years! Miss you guys and thanks again! ^_^
What's more noticeable, I think, is the actress's professionalism, in that she disregarded the brace even though it was probably bothering her, and continued to do her routine without moving to fix it or otherwise drawing attention to it. The sign of a good performer.
Super Cosmo Prower OMG it's always super-funny to realize how people don't understand irony or a simple trolling like this one.... thanks for answering, you made my day
It's not XD portal guns don't exist, you cant crossover to another portal. sorry, but it is stage magic. they have 2 people looking the same acting like they are teleporting
Took me a while to realize how this was done. There are 2 twins that mimic eachother, not mirrors (which I thought there was). The cubes and stuff are actually people in costumes. This was pretty good.
Seeing this live and actually being there was incredible. Me and my cousin started nerding out so hard it wasn't even funny. Easily the best skit of the whole show.
This was awesome. I have to say it was my favorite part of the masquerade, especially since I was cosplaying as an aperture science scientist XD And although some have complained or made negative comments understand that this auditorium was huge and from far away it looked seamless.
Lol, I love how people are like, "this would have been better if it were perfect." Of course that's true, but I can't even fathom the amount of coordination and planning they had just to get what they had here. Amazing job.
THAT WAS AWESOME! And just before watching this I was seriously thinking "I wonder if anyone would ever get two chells to make the portals look real" :D
That was amazing! It was so well planned if i didnt know better it would look as if it was the same person literally teleporting! That must have taken weeks to perfect! An outstanding well done job~!
@coolleax It wasn't GLaDOS's voice that won them the most dramatic award, or the costumes. What won the audience and the judges over was the creativity and ingenuity of this well played skit. The best part was that it was live and there was no editing involved, like all the other crappy portal gun IRL videos that I have seen before. What matters is that they had the courage and ambition to perform this amazing act. So I say bravo. My fast clap generator is working at maximum output.
