The fact that Caroline appears in "Goodbye my only friend. Oh, did you think I meant you?" fits really well. GLaDOS could've been talking about Caroline, the only one who understood her, because she was her.

Well I think those are the only ones without arms in this animation. Granted they probably have arms under their coats but everyone else just has arms out
Not sure if im fully right on portal 1 but, in the begging cave Johnston sold shower curtains. Then he bought many salt mines, with this he would continue to test. The projects got cooler and cooler until one went wrong on Johnston and he became terminally ill. The GLaDOS project was started to put his mind into a robot. He found out he wouldent make it so he made his assistant do it. But emotions were not carried over so the new GLaDOS was a murderous tester but, a scitzofranic scientist nicknamed ratman got into the test subjects list and found chel, a detemined woman who never gives up. Then you play portal 1, then years later ratman keeps chel alive and she wakes one day then a robot named wheatly joins her, but je takes GLaDOS' place and turns her into a potato. Chel and GLaDOS then defeat wheatly and GLaDOS lets chel free into the world.

This is adorable! It's so smooth and I adore the designs. Espiecally Glados and the Turrets. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this. It's great to see portal content is still being made by fans and keeping this game alive.
I loved this animation just like the time I played portal 2. The game was fantastic and fun even when it wasn't. The music ultimately made the game work and the twist at the end worked. The new mechanics we were introduced to were fun and the ending made it the best. The cutscene at the end was great as well. Also the cutscene at the end of this video SpAAAAAAAAAAAACE
4 years later and this is still amazing, the only thing I’m confused about is that there’s the regular turrets in the beginning but then the human ones later. Besides that these designs are *yes* and potatOS looks like GLaDOS got turned into a grumpy toddler, I love it. The oracle turret was a nice detail. Also the prima-donna turret looked like the motherly friend in a friend group (don’t ask). It would be interesting if this was remade and we possibly could see a Animal King human design.
In about 1:10 Chell runs past a turret saying “I’m different”. Maybe the turret is the Oracle turret because of the turret saying the line and it is located near or in the incineration area Spoilers: the Oracle turret in portal 2 is in the conveyer belt to the incineration area. Also the clip shows about half a second so it is hard to spot.
The song that the turrets sing at the end is italian, it says: "Beautiful dear*, my beautiful dear! My child, oh Chell! How I admire... How I admire. Oh, my dear, goodbye! My dear child, why not walk away? Yes, away from science, dear, my dear child? My dear! Ah, my dear! Ah, my child! Oh dear, dear child... So yeah, im pretty sire Caroline is Chells mother *: bella means beautiful, but in this context its supposed to mean darling or dear
0:56 i'm pretty sure it's referring to the day Caroline's conscience woke up inside a computer, which was Cave's instructions if he died before he could be immortalized - and NOT the day Chell and Wheatley accidentally woke her up
i know this is a bit late but since she's now on the upper world she'll probably have to face another problem aka the combine as Portal does connect to the Half Life timeline and considering its Portal 2 this game probably took place during the occupatio of earth by the combine and since she only knows of earth before the combine she would probably not know of the events that occured aftr the 7 hours war
Fun fact: In Harry101UK's / Harry Callaghan's ( I think he made Portal & Portal 2 idk Q~Q ) video, the cores mentioned transferring the previous staff's brain into cores. Also Game Theory /Matpat was researching & made a theory that " Little Caroline " is actually not only living in GLaDOS, that Caroline is GLaDOS. Although there is a dark theory that he also thought of, that Companion Cubes is full of the remains of dead subjects or past staff. So Companion Cubes, Wheatly & GLaDOS (Maybe turrets) can actually be humans like you animate them. Send help, I actually never played Portal & Portal 2

2:00 i realized something throughout the video, GLaDOS has "angry eyes" but here, she doesn't and instead she's got the "happy/normal eyes" which is a nice little detail
Ok a little thing I thought was cool was after Wheatley was banished to space chell and Glados look at each other at eye level signifying that they are close to equals
GlaDos really could have killed Chell on the moon but she didn’t. Was that because she was afraid that Chell might come back or was it because Caroline was there at the time.
