Boy she cuts! As a southern boy would say. The iron horse was a suggestion. You I found from youtube suggesting you an saw porting as well. I first started watching Afleetcommand I still do watch ole walt learned a thing or 2 from him as well as harv and you on porting numbers. Porting shape I use one of Harvey's techniques and a technique I have figured up and found that does work (from kart engines) and I've stuck with it. Keep up the videos chainsaws bikes and trucks. Just got done slayin a 22" dia ash with my ol echo cs 510 with a 20" bar. Im not sure how but the lil thing didnt even flintch burried. She was a tad un happy doing the angle cut on the notch though lol.. Only removed the exhaust deflector and retuned. Hand filed china special from tractor supply has held up as good if not better than the stihl ive ran too, surprisingly. On a side note;Picking up a chainsaw last year for the first time hass changed my lifee. I just wish i would have done it sooner.. Wasted alot of my 20s not knowing what to do with myself;no direction. Anyhow, thank you for the videos. I think i came here from iron horse but also really enjoy billy, bayou saws , human and others i cant remember.

I’m 51... love helping guys with their saw problems... now I have a video reference... I can say watch this TinMan video and you’ll see what’s happening... it’s definitely great stuff! Because you are doing the hard videos type work and it’s out their as a teaching aid or how to reference for whoever needs it!!! It’s a great thing that you are doing because you have a very understandable teacher type vibe because you are making videos...like you would be able to learn from... it’s really cool that you look at everything from both sides or whatever and you don’t “show off” that you build awesome saw’s...you show guys exactly what you are doing...”let me get the good shot of this!!!” Type Teaching!!! Thanks again for your hard work on the channel!!! My God Bless you and your family with great health and continuing growth...❤️✋😁👍👍

I have been subscribed for a while just never commented. You build good running saws, plenty of power. You should definitely build yourself a ms260 they are impressive when worked over, mine is my go to unless it is big wood. Light and fast I love it. Iron Horse sent me your way a while back, and he convinced me that I could port my own saws so I did and a few others now.

I can definitely relate to trying to get younger people into something other than cell phones and computers!! If they would take the time to watch you, buckin Billy and the ironhorse and see what you guys do and can do with a saw or dirt bike, they might start doing something different. I've been in and around the logging industry all my life and have tried to get younger people to get involved with me and help, if not the logging aspect, something productive. Look at what you did with that 288, it's amazing!! I wish I could do that but I just put trees on the ground with them. You guys keep doing what you do, maybe some day the future generations will see there is more to life than a dark room and blue screen
@DaveyBlue32
@DaveyBlue32 3 года назад
You are darn near there on your break system and it’s definitely better to have everything and do it in one go for me... I absolutely refuse to ever go backwards anymore... do it the right way first... it’s worth the couple years of knowing that at least you can stop it! 😂😂😂. Get one of the hundred dollar harbor freight pickup cranes to mount inside the tailgate on the sidewall... you can then crank them up and spin them big heavy things like big rounds into your truck... the occasionally big heavy stuff don’t ruin your back or you don’t loose the feeling in your arms or whatever...because we are all 1/2 Jack up from our working hard all our lives... That big bad bitch is ported enough to make me happy... she’s chewing great! LMFFAO! Now, I’m thinking I wonder where it’s numbers are lining up...😂😂😂. It’s impossible to be happy with anything that you haven’t really done right... or you have left some and you know it but you know what else you have...or think you have based on it’s numbers.... porting without a decent idea of the engine timing numbers makes no sense to me... you can make it better or not... why not really measure it to see where everything is hitting...so you can catch something and make your little correction??? I’m so happy that the fellow sent you guys the Foredom tools... I found the 90’s and ordered a couple... I’m thinking about grabbing a couple dozen so guys can get us Shipping...?? Those are a great freaking deal!!! I have a 395 project that I just got everything for so I’m happy... but that 288 looks much better with the classic lines... I really really really like the basic just metal thinner brake... I hate those big black plastic coated brake levers hanging out the front... I really appreciate that you take the time on your video to say give and you’ll be taken care of and be nice and people will treat you nice... that’s great mentoring to these young folks who are just getting going... it’s not always a dog eat dog world... some people see another guy in trouble and decide to stop what they are doing and step into the other person’s life for a minute and be their angle! We shouldn’t wait for a magical miracle we should look for opportunities where we can be the miracle!!! Pay it forward is a fantastic concept and if more people are looking out and doing it “we” can change the world for the better! We can’t leave things for our kids to fix...we see the right and the wrong and we need to fight for the right in everything we do. All negative action is just reflected out into the universe and that bad wave will eventually find it’s way back home to you. If you are kind...good things will come your way.
