Nice saw bro. I have a husky 61 contra with original stickers looks almost new. I picked it up out in California, I’m probably going to port it one day. Not yet though, it’s to nice to touch. And it looks really cold there I live in Texas it’s not often cold here.
The 65 is a great saw. I have a few going back to the B65 from 1968. Apart from the 4-stroking here and there your 365 cuts fast. If you like fast chains, an 8 tooth sprocket will move things along. I'm guessing you're in Canada. Where abouts?
I have two 365 "specials" but the Australian version isn't as special, it seems we got the European version according to the info i found and the cylinder is open port version. I didn't know that until I opened them and then wondered how i was going to do anything with that. Doesn't seem like there's many options except replacing the cylinder with a Hyway or Meteor and then i may as well turn it into a 372 big bore, so they just wait. One got a base gasket delete and muffler mod which didn't seem to make much difference really, can't outcut my stock 353 with muffler mod
Thats one cylinder I've yet to see here. Only 365s I see here are closed port. I'm still running this saw and ported I see no reason to go big bore. This saw rips!
